If you are arriving by car, we recommend using the public parking available in the area, but the area is also well-served by taxis and buses, making it easy to get around without a private vehicle.

To explore Como on foot, it’s advisable to wear comfortable shoes, especially if you plan to stroll along the lake or hike to panoramic spots like Brunate.

Como is well-serviced, with numerous public drinking fountains. Tap water is also safe to drink.

In the summer, boats exploring the lake are frequent, and they’re a great way to visit various towns such as Bellagio, Varenna, and Tremezzo.

If you enjoy hiking, one of the best routes leads to the Brunate funicular, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding mountains.
