Begin each blue-sky day with a refreshing dip in the villa’s large swimming pool, where you can enjoy the soothing sounds of nature and the peace of your stunning surroundings. The sun-drenched wooden terrace offers plenty of comfortable sun loungers, so if you are in the mood to unwind, you can spend the whole day relaxing by the pool with a good book. If you fancy a little break from the sun, ascend the short flight of stairs to reach the villa’s secluded stone patio, where you will find a covered outdoor dining area. This charming spot is a great place to gather everyone together for a leisurely meal with a glass of the local Plavac Mali wine at sunset.

Upon entering the villa from the terrace, guests will find an open-plan living space with a cool and restful ambience. A comfortable lounge area provides the ideal place to completely unwind after a day spent exploring the wonders of the island. The laidback pace of life on Hvar is truly enchanting. After a few days spent lounging by your own private pool and dining in Pitve’s excellent restaurants, you may wish to venture slightly further afield to soak up some of the island’s rich culture and heritage.

Hvar offers visitors a treasure trove of beautiful beaches, from the turquoise waters of Pokonji Dol to Dubovica’s beautiful bay. Malo Zarace’s crystal-clear waters are perfect for a sunset swim, while Mina is a secluded sandy haven only a fifteen-minute walk from Jelsa. For those who fancy a day of island hopping, a visit to the Pakleni Islands is a magical experience. Pack a picnic and hire your own boat for the day, making your way to hidden coves and bright blue lagoons. Alternatively, you can join any boat tours departing from Hvar town’s main harbour.

If you decide to spend a morning in Hvar town, almost any of the pretty side streets will eventually lead you to Dalmatia’s oldest square, St. Stephen’s Square. Home to beautiful Venetian and Renaissance architecture, including the imposing St. Stephen’s Cathedral, this vibrant square in the town centre is the ideal place to enjoy a cup of coffee as you watch the world go by.
