Olhao is a bustling and vibrant Portuguese fishing village, is just 10 km from Faro and 15 km (9.32 miles) from Faro Airport. Positioned on the southern edge of the Ria Formosa estuary, with its intricate network of canals, islands, marshland, and sandy beaches spanning 60 km.
So, hop on to the ferry to get to the beach before sailing back at sunset for simple grilled fish at one of the waterfront restaurants. Indulge in lifes simple pleasures; walking, exploring beaches, reading and preparing delicious meals with produce from the nearby market.
