Welcome to Russell House, a historic listed building nestled in the heart of Reid's Court, Edinburgh. Built around 1790, this Georgian property offers a unique blend of classic charm and modern convenience.
The court is named after the Reid family, esteemed smiths and coach makers of the 17th and 18th centuries, adding a rich historical context to this exceptional home. Situated at the bottom of the Royal Mile, the house is only a short walk away from the Scottish Parliament, Holyrood Palace, Dynamic Earth, Edinburgh Castle and many other central Edinburgh's top attractions.
The property boasts four spacious bedrooms, featuring three double beds and one king-sized bed, providing ample accommodation for guests. Each bedroom is designed to be both comfortable and spacious, ensuring a restful stay. The living room is comfortable and inviting, perfect for relaxation and socialising.
Russell House features two bathrooms, one with a bathtub and the other with a walk-in shower on the higher floors (Please note that both bathrooms are en-suite and located within two of the bedrooms, so they will need to be shared between all guests within your group staying at the property). There is also a convenient WC on the ground floor. The kitchen is fully fitted and maintained to a high standard, with porcelain tiling and all necessary appliances for modern living.
The house has 3 floors, and the upper floors are only reachable by stairs.
The house is well-served by bus routes and is near Waverley Train Station, ensuring excellent transport links. Additionally, there is 1 private free car parking spaces right next to the house.
Our check-in method is simple and convenient: Self-check-in is the only option, with the key securely stored in a key safe at the property.
Please note a security deposit registration will need to be completed prior to arrival in order to receive the codes for check-in, no money is actually charged but there is a pre-authorization of 1 euro.
