The apartment has recently been renovated/created, and another is being done on the level above. The workmanship is not great and you can see this in many ways, especially if you are there for more than a few nights Eg the trim around the bathroom door is starting to come off the wall, you have to mop the bathroom floor every time you shower before you get out as the glass panels don’t contain the water and it’s all over the floor. The shower drain keeps blocking up and you have to turn off the shower to let the water drain. The furniture is not great and covers on the large lounge chair are ripping, the tall table is unstable and wobbles when you are eating. The height of the table is too high for older people to get onto the stools, or children to eat at whiteout a risk of falling. There are no coasters for your glasses and one night a glass simply slid off the low round table when placed on it -we caught it in time. There is a lot of room in the lounge area but very little hanging space. The apartment needs more thought and better design. It’s also incredibly noisy at night (till 3am) as our bedroom windows went onto the street area where there are several bars. The living area was internal and dark - always had to have a light on. There is also no safe to put personal belongings in.
The entrance off the street is old run down and dirty- Totally un-inviting. Stairs going up are dangerous and you have to walk through construction materials on level 1 if you don’t want to use the lift. Finally the Add featured a picture showing the rooftop, sun chairs and view to the Acropolis. It was not until after booking did I read that the rooftop was not accessible by all guests, only the apartment on the top level.
This is not a luxury apartment and I was disappointed
