Right on the door step you can discover a trail that leads you to the nature reserve at the Beacon Hill Crown Estate, or delve into the rich history of the region by visiting nearby historic landmarks and museums. From the doorstep, you can access Beacon Hill via bridle and footpaths. The property is right on the Glyndwr Way National Trail too. Situated within a working farm, the cottage extends a warm invitation to bring along your horses providing on-site DIY livery facilities, please check availability and additional costs with the owner before booking. This idyllic haven promises an unforgettable experience.
Carefully designed throughout, the warm welcoming ground floor encompasses a well-appointed kitchen containing a traditional cast iron cooker, leading to a cosy living room adorned with plush sofas and a cast iron electric fire. Beautiful, exposed stone features throughout. The dining area comfortably accommodates four and opens onto the garden patio through French doors. Upstairs there are two wonderful bedrooms, both with super-king zip-and-link beds (can be twin on request). There is a shower room here too for refreshing up each morning or evening after active days out exploring the peaceful countryside. Conveniently on the ground floor, there is a bathroom with just a dedicated bath for a relaxing soak.
Outside, the cottage boasts a charming, terraced garden, landscaped with its own luxurious eco-friendly wood-fired hot tub as a bookable extra treat, meticulously crafted from red cedar wood. With enchanting vistas across the surrounding countryside, it provides the ideal setting to unwind, relax, and indulge in a magical holiday experience.Â
