Set in open countryside on the edge of the historic stone village of Beckington, close to Longleat House & Safari Park and the splendid city of Bath, By The Byre Holidays is a collection of charming self-catering accommodation comprising four pretty, traditional-style two-bedroom cottages.

This beautiful mid-terrance two-bedroom property is the second cottage you’ll find as you enter the site. Step through the front door into a warm and welcoming space, thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation.
The cottage features a modern, well-equipped kitchen stocked with plenty of crockery, pots, pans, and utensils. A solid wood dining table comfortably seats four, with space for highchairs if required. The sitting area offers a 2-seater and 3-seater sofa, along with a SMART TV and electric fire. There is also a convenient downstairs cloakroom. Upstairs, you’ll find a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, along with a family bathroom with shower over bath. Underfloor heating throughout adds an extra touch of comfort all year round.

We pride ourselves on being family-friendly and understand the importance of thoughtful extras that make your stay feel like a home from home. Wooden cots with proper mattresses are available for babies up to 18 months, along with travel cots for older babies, bed guards, highchairs and stair-gates We have a good selection of equipment, so please let us know your requirements in advance.
Guests are welcome to explore the grounds, where children can enjoy outdoor ride-on toys and say hello to our chickens.

Less than three miles away is the vibrant town of Frome, known for its historic architecture, independent shops, and thriving arts scene. A ten-minute drive takes you to the world-famous Longleat House and Safari Park, where guests of By The Byre can enjoy a 20% discount on one-day tickets. The elegant Georgian city of Bath, with its Roman Baths, museums, cafés, and boutiques, is just 12 miles away. Also within easy reach are Wookey Hole, Cheddar Gorge, and Stonehenge, along with the historic towns of Bradford-on-Avon, Glastonbury, and Wells.
