Great escape for May. Wonderful location. Easy walk to Community Center, pickleball courts, stores and restaurants. Bike trails very close by and we loved the covered patio.
Worked remotely here for a month with my significant other (wifi worked great). Perfect location for everything Fruita and great spot for visiting the national parks on the weekend.
Great property (as pictured), excellent location, great communication with host who recommended several local attractions and eateries. All-around fantastic rental property. No hesitations.
I rented this for a group of people for a retreat⊠it was near perfect! My only comment would be to sweep the back porch of all the dead leaves but thatâs so minor! We loved it!
Great location, half a block from downtown and a couple blocks from a park with a nice play structure. House was really clean and the patio was awesome. We didn't use, but it was great to have access to the shed for bike storage.
Hikes, Country Jam, Wineries, and great fishing spots...we did it all. This was our wonderful home-base during our vacation and Debe has an immaculate place for friends to gather after visiting all that the Western Slope has to offer. We will be back!
Enjoyed our time in this quaint home near wonderful downtown Fruita. It was the perfect home base for a couple of Minnesota teachers looking for some mountain biking adventures. Loved the vibe of the community and the friendliness of the residents and business owners. Will definitely be back!
This was our second time staying at the Peach house. It is very comfortable and the best location! We walked everywhere, to the Community Center, stores and restaurants. The bike path is so close.
We plan to return again.
Fantastic location in walking distance of bike shops. coffee shops and restaurants in Fruita. Close drive to all the mountain biking bucket list locations, including only 2hours to Moab.
House was perfect with outside patio, big kitchen and dining area, and 6 comfortable twin beds. I will be back!
We rented this house as a home base while we moved into our new home in Grand Junction a few miles away. We moved with three greyhounds so needed a place that accepted dogs and had a fenced yard. This home is located within short walking distance to downtown Fruita and just a couple of blocks from City Market and Walgreen's and I-70 freeway access. The plumbing and electrical systems have been recently upgraded and the kitchen was well stocked. Three bedrooms = 6 beds and two full baths gave us more than enough room. Wi=Fi is not wired in but they did provide a Verizon Jetpack that gave us excellent internet access via their account. We did not personally meet the owners but spoke with Debra on several occasions by phone, email and text. She was very responsive to our questions and needs. All in all, one of the most enjoyable VRBO rentals we have ever made.
For a dog-friendly property in Fruita, this location really can't be beat - it's easy walking distance to all the amenities in the cute little downtown area. The home is extremely well-equipped - you will have plenty of supplies for your stay and a very nice kitchen with wonderful gas stove to prepare meals during your stay. The beds are very comfortable and there are plenty of extras like towels and sheets if you're staying awhile! For us, having that 2nd bathroom was just great...and both bathrooms are modern and very nicely finished! The fenced yard, surrounds the house, and was fine for our dogs; but I will say that the fence is short so if your canines are escape artists, take that into consideration; also the front fence goes right up to the street sidewalk, so if your dogs take offense to passersby...keep that in mind too! I liked the mostly pea-gravel yard as it was easy to clean up after our animals. We were there during a cold, rainy and pretty messy week, but the back covered seating area looked very inviting for warmer weather. We really enjoyed our week-long stay and would definitely consider booking this place again!!
It was great to be with family and our dog at Debe's property. The 3 bedrooms and 2 baths were perfect. Enjoyed that the master had an ensuite bathroom. The other bathroom had a deep tub and even some epson salts for soothing the bike riding muscles. The beds could be twin or made into king beds and they were very comfortable. Enough pots and pans for having a family dinner and a dinning table that could fit all of us! I just wish you could put a table lamp in the living room so we wouldn't have had to put the harsh overhead light on in that room. I am very challenged on where is north/south directions so on check in if you could say the key is on the back patio post that would have been just a bit clearer to me. I did clean up a lot of old dog poop that previous renters had not cleaned up. That is not the owners fault it really was the past renters bad dog owner's behavior. Loved that the yard was completely fenced in and safe for our dog. Being walkable to the cute downtown was a plus. Got pizza and salad from the Hot Tomato and really enjoyed it. Thank you Debe for allowing us to stay at your wonderful home.
