Charming Hut with Outdoor Bath & Decking, Sea Views

The Space:

Escape to tranquillity in this shepherd's hut near Sidmouth, Devon. Sleeping 3, it offers a double bed with a single bunk above perfect for kids. Complete with a kitchen, cosy living area and modern bathroom with shower. Relax on the decking with distant sea views or gather around the BBQ and fire pit in the secluded valley.



Guest Access:

Guests will have access to the entire hut and surrounding garden.



The Neighborhood:

In spite of its isolated rural position, Holt is remarkably well connected and is in a great position from which to explore some of Devon's beautiful beaches and attractions. Head to Sidmouth (10 mins), Branscombe, Beer (15 mins) or Lyme Regis, Exmouth, Topsham and the medieval city of Exeter (within 25 mins). Closer to the hut, there is a renowned family pub which serves great food which borders the farm and is a short walk directly from the hut. Or enjoy a drink and dining at the Pig at Combe hotel, which is 5 mins by car.



Getting Around:

We would recommend bringing a car to make the most of your stay here, there is parking available about 50 metres walk down a gravelled pathway to the hut.



It is just under 3 hours on the fast train from London to our nearest rail station in Honiton which is 10 minutes away by taxi or ~15 minutes by bus. There is a bus stop conveniently located at the entrance to the farm which goes from Honiton to Sidmouth and Exeter.



Other Things to Note:

Please note: Access to the huts is via an unsealed farm track. As you would expect, there are some bumps and uneven sections along the way, so we kindly ask guests to drive carefully.



If you haven't done so already, please notify us prior to your stay if you are planning on bringing your dog. We charge an additional fee of £30 per dog (maximum 2). For longer stays we may ask for an additional pet deposit to be paid. However, you will be notified of this at the time of booking should this be applicable.



Please observe the following pet rules:

- Never leave your dog unattended at the property. From experience this has been when most accidental damages have occurred.

- We kindly ask that they are kept off the furniture, particularly soft furnishings such as beds and sofas.

- Please be respectful of the area and clean up your dog's mess.

- If your dog is moulting, we ask that you do a clean-up with the dustpan and brush to avoid hair buildup.
