Belle maison 3/2 sur canal menant au lac Grassy. Des lacs de renommée mondiale à proximité, tels que le lac Istokpoga, réputé pour la pêche au bar de classe mondiale. La plupart des lacs ont des rampes de mise à l'eau publiques et la plupart sont gratuites pour le public. Passez de belles et paisibles vacances avec toute la maison, plus une laveuse / sécheuse pour en profiter. Quartier haut de gamme est très sûr. Apportez votre bateau ou votre kayak ou passez simplement une semaine ou deux à vous détendre. Aventurez-vous en ville pour des boutiques d'antiquités et d'occasion. La maison est centralement située: 1 heure à Punta Gorda et Fort Myers; 1 heure 30 minutes de Disney World; moins de 2 heures à Tampa; minutes de Sebring. Salon a 55 "TV à écran plat. La chambre principale a un lit queen size / salle de bain / 32 "TV à écran plat. La deuxième chambre a aussi la reine. La troisième chambre a 2 lits jumeaux avec beaucoup d'espace pour jouer ou se détendre. Véranda arrière est idéal pour profiter du coucher du soleil. La maison pourra accueillir 6 personnes confortablement.

Nice canal home!

We stayed at the home while house hunting in the area and the home was a perfect "home base". The owner was very attentive and quickly replied to all questions. I highly recommend this property.

Peaceful Tranquility

House is located in a very nice area. Canal in the back with dock to park boat & fish off of. Owner was very nice. Safe area to walk & neighbors were great. Can't wait to return.

Relaxing on the dock

We had a very nice stay at this location. We are golfers and the house was very close to many courses. We enjoyed sitting out on the dock or in the screened in area of the house. The neighbors were very friendly and we enjoyed their conversations.

Great home, great neighborhood, great time.

First time using VBRO was a success! Lovely home on canal with screened lanai & over canal dock. Comfortable bed & linens. And we could have our dog with us! Only discrepancy was that Dishwasher doesn’t work but is still listed. Would definitely stay here again.

Let me start by saying Sebastian is the kindest host we've encountered. Our situation was not a normal one, we were looking for a last minute place to get away from Hurricane Milton. Sebastian responded immediately to our request with an approval even with our 2 doggies. Thanks again Sebastian!

And they didn't even have electricity for more than 24 hours, just amazing people. I had the opportunity to talk to her for a few minutes. Harmony House Rental

We had the pleasure of staying at the Harmony House due to an unexpected situation with another rental. Sebastian was outstanding to work with and maintained an open communication with us throughout our stay. The house has a great location in Lake Placid on Grassy Lake. It is very well maintained and kept very clean. We enjoyed sitting on the deck/dock experiencing the nature around us. We anticipate being back in the area in the future an look forward to the opportunity to rent this or another house from Sebastian.

Saved by Sebastian

Arrived in Lake Placid a week early and needed a rental quickly until our place was ready. Sebastian's speedy response and communication was a life saver. The home was quiet and comfortable, our favorite spot being the back screened porch watching the ibis and sandhil cranes. Our only disappointment was not meeting Sebastian in person!

Careful

Rotten fruit greeted us at the lockbox. The fruit trees in the yard attracted hornets. The front of the house had multiple wasp nests and a hornet nest. Be careful when going in and out! We bought spray and killed them. The water was beyond atrocious. Beware of "well water". The whole house stunk like sulphur!! This house should not be allowed to be listed with VRBO. ****STRICTLY AN OPINION by the renter****

Diane was the worst guest we ever had. She's upset because we would not rent to her the following week off the books. She went as far as telling my wife and I you'll see I'm going to fix you good I looked up her reviews from another host they gave her three stars it seems she's a problem wherever she goes. I was trying to be nice when she asked us to come over and let's talk about rent for the following week or maybe more. First thing we noticed when we got there we had a broken porch screen dog urine in the screened in porch..And a lot of other things I really don't want to get into. It's sad that people can write whatever they want. The only thing she told the truth about all of sun in lakes in lake placid is on well water there is a slight odor it's well water. We have our filters changed every 30 days. Still it's well water there is a slight odor. We've hosted over 75 guest since 2016 and actually made a lot of good friends along the way and met a lot of great people 99.9% of people in my opinion are great. We love our guests we really do and always hope they have the best vacation ever. We try to keep our prices as low as possible so people can afford to stay and enjoy their time in lake placid Florida. No hard feelings I really do hope she gets the help she needs God bless

A Cozy House

We stayed 3 weeks and enjoyed ourselves. Quiet neighborhood and friendly neighbors. Close to stores. Nice screened porch to view the lovely canal and sit out at night. The place was clean. No WIFI which was inconvenient. We had a problem with the hot water at first, but the owner came right over and fixed it. The minor drawbacks, mild sulfur water and water pressure is weak at times. Only two chairs in the living room - we brought one in from the porch. There isn't a reading lamp (I don't remember any lamps at all) if you want to sit in a chair and read. A TV schedule would have been nice and the stove needs a good cleaning. An added bonus would be a clock in the bedroom. If you like Papayas as I do, you can pick them off the tree in the front. The ones we had were delicious. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful neighborhood

This property is located in a very friendly neighborhood . People are very helpful and shopping facilities nearby.. The house was sparsely furnished, so we rented recliner chairs from Aaron’s in Sebring (excellent company to meet our needs). The dishwasher was present, but did not work. Several repairs needed of HVAC system and toilet, but Sebastian was quick to respond to the repairs. There are plenty of thrift stores nearby, for items needed such as an end table and lamp for reading. We really enjoyed the screened in porch and canal leading to Lake Grassey. Overall we enjoyed our two months stay.

We had a great stay at Sebastian's. The home was exactly as described, convenient to town and fishing. The neighborhood was friendly and the driveway was perfect for parking a boat. Sebastian was very responsive and ensured our stay was perfect.

Awesome Lakehouse

My friends ( 2 couples) chose to stay here when given the option of the other house. They loved it! One of the couples lived by the lake too and they were so at home in this beautiful lakehouse. Everything was so clean and so comfortable and they couldn't ask for better place to stay while attending the 50th Graduation Anniversary of being Nurses. Found the the house was better than the VRBO description. Great neighborhood, quiet, and safe. Convenient to stores and other places of interest. Owner was quick to respond to questions and went over and above to make sure our stay was what we expected.

We stayed for a month. Loved the area. Tennis courts a few blocks away and the neighborhoods were fun to walk through. Nice being on a canal as well. The owner responded quickly to questions. Would have been nice to have more seating - only two large chairs in living room area. We would stay there again.

Review with mixed emotions

As hurricane Irma was approaching we decided to rent this property in the center of the state to be hopefully safer than on the gulf coast. We rented for 5 days. We checked in and within a few hours the hurricane was switching paths to come up the middle of the state. So at 4 a.m. We packed up and headed northwest. I text the property owners to let them know we left. Around 9a.m. They called and asked if we had left, I said yes. They were so excited because they had family from Miami in the evacuation zone. So now their family could stay in the rental. I didn't mention a possible refund at that time because we were all worrying about safety of Irma. I know my rental said no refunds, but I was hoping in good faith that maybe I would be refunded at least 2 out of the 4 nights we didn't use. Especially since they were able to send their family to be safe from the storm. I've rented many vacation homes and always been happy. Like the title for my review states... mixed emotions. This is our summer home. We go fishing and boating almost everyday. We absolutely love it! It is so peaceful and a very safe neighborhood. There are so many different lakes to explore.Some are recreational/watersports, others for serious bass fishing such as the world famous Lake Istokpoga, a mere 10 minutes away. Lakes, lakes, everywhere you look! Nature at its best.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We came to visit some friends that bought a home here and we could not believe how absolutely beautiful this little corner of Florida is. Everyone is so friendly so pleasant. We live in Miami, FL about 2 hours away so it is our little sanctuary whenever we need an escape. We just love coming here to relax, fish, swim, or simply enjoy a sunset. It is always hard to leave!
