Andrew contacted us on his second day, complaining about the lack of curtains on the patio door. The kitchen faces our fenced backyard, so we never considered privacy an issue. Previous guests repeatedly damaged the curtains and blinds while accessing the backyard. Nevertheless, we installed brand-new curtains next morning. Surprisingly, his review does not mention this. All other windows have curtains or blinds. We also repaired the kitchen sink drain at the same time. Andrew complained about the neighbour's yard, although we have no authority over how our neighbours maintain their property. He also criticized the beds, which are brand new and have received positive comments from previous guests. The absence of decorative pictures does not affect the functionality of a three-bedroom, two-bathroom house. Regarding extra towels, the property manager's contact details are available on VRBO. All linens are changed after every stay, and extra towels are kept in the bathroom vanities or closets. A simple call could have resolved this. Finally, Andrew claimed the stay cost more than it should have. We disagree. For five guests, the cost was approximately $20 per person per night. For a private three-bedroom, two-bathroom house, this was a very affordable and reasonable price, fully justified by the accommodation and amenities provided.

Thank you for the comments. I you find that there is anything that needs a better clean after arrival, the cleaner/manager would come back during your stay if you let them know. As per the message I sent to you on arrival day, there was another VRBO guest leaving on the same day as your arrival. Unfortunately, this guest did not respect the checkout rules, and did not leave until 1.5 hrs prior to your check-in time, so the cleaners had to scramble to get the house ready for you. The previous guest also left much more damage and things to clean that the usual guest. I am sorry for that inconvenience.
