Little Nest of plenty

The little nest is a great comfortable set up for 2 Spacious enough and well appointed. Everything was perfect on arrival The rules and does and don't, well explained in the easy to access email instructions. We had an absolutely perfect time.

Beautiful Rhoscolyn

Everything about the Little Nest is spot on. Beautiful location, excellent restaurant/ pub, clean, tidy etc. However it’s just too small for stay longer than 2 nights. That’s regrettable because it could be made much better by removing a few internal walls and swapping the bathroom and kitchen around. We’ve stayed here previously and may do so again but not for 4 nights as we did this time.

Excellent stay

An excellent stay again at the Little Nest with our dog. We loved our stay, the beach and pub nearby are fantastic! We found it can be difficult to cook a full meal in the accomodation as there is some cooking equipment missing e.g. oven gloves, pizza cutter etc. But that definitely didn’t spoil our trip and we made use of nearby restaurants/cafes.

Small and Adequate

Love Rhoscolyn good location although a lot of traffic food deliveries septic tank etc quite early when you want to relax. Parking was a challenge on occasions as White Eagle customers often ignore our reserved parking sign. Little touches in the apartment would be appreciated a little more thought to required needs. Considering all the above we would possibly stay again at the right fee.

The apartment was lovely. Nicely decorated, just what we needed. However there were a few issues. Firstly with the heating. It was early October when we stayed. I do believe the heating should have come on for 2 hrs in the evening and two hours in the morning minimum. We had no heating the first night so contacted Anglesey lettings. An employee came out to try and sort the problem. Apparently the main controls were in the other apartment. She went across and the heating did come on. However, she failed to come back to us to check it and explain what was wrong. We tried to find her to no avail. We eventually went out and when we returned, we again had no heating for the remainder of our stay, so the issue hadn't been sorted. The other issue was in the kitchen - there were no microwavable bowls or oven ready dishes. We did ask for a tin opener which was to be fair delivered the next day. I don't want people to be put off with this as its something that can presumably easily be sorted, as the little nest was lovely.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We're pleased you enjoyed The Little Nest and found the apartment lovely, comfortable and nicely decorated. Regarding the heating, our Housekeeping Manager attended promptly following your call and was able to get the heating working before leaving. Unfortunately, you had gone out by that point, so she wasn't able to speak with you again. We also checked the heating following your departure and found it to be working correctly. For clarity, the Hive heating controls are located within The Little Nest itself, rather than in the neighbouring apartment. We're sorry to hear that you experienced further difficulties during your stay. Had we been made aware that you were still having problems, we would of course have returned to investigate further. We certainly wouldn't expect guests to spend their holiday without adequate heating, particularly in October. Thank you also for highlighting the kitchen items. We're pleased the tin opener was delivered, we have reviewed the kitchen inventory and are happy that it provides sufficient items for a comfortable stay. We appreciate your constructive comments and, most importantly, are delighted that you enjoyed the apartment overall. We hope to welcome you back to Anglesey in the future.

Short break in Rhoscolyn

The Little Nest was a lovely place to stay. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. The large bedroom had a comfy super king bed and it was very convenient to have a small kitchen. My only criticism is that when we arrived the door only had a sign for The Nest and we didn’t know where to go for The Little Nest, not realising the door was for both properties.

Another lovely stay in Little Nest

We chose the Little Nest for our second wedding anniversary having stayed there for our first - the welcome pack was an excellent addition and much appreciated. The only thing we did miss was a hot bath as the hot tap could not be turned but the shower was perfect. Linen and towels were soft and spotless as was the rest of the flat. We will be back !

A lovely stay

Great location we were able to walk from there without the need to drive, although we did wonder at busier times whether you would be disturbed by the pub downstairs. Accommodation was comfortable and clean.

Perfect stay

Stayed at the lovely little nest, great for a couple wanting a base in a great location. Beautiful beach of Rhoscolyn a walk away & both Trearddur & Rhosneigr beaches nearby. The White Eagle has really great food so ideal being literally on your doorstep! Limited shops so take provisions but a lovely welcome pack provided.

Return stay in The Little Nest

We stayed here last year and loved the location and everything it had to offer which inspired us to book again. We had another lovely stay however our only criticism on this occasion is that The Little Nest is in need of a refresh as it is now showing signs of looking tired and well used.

Fabulous Easter break!

We've been coming to Anglesey for years but this was our first stay at Little Nest. It is the perfect place to stay for 2 people. The apartment was immaculately clean, everything is brand new and well considered. The bed is the best we've ever slept in, missed it when we got home! Welcome packs are lovely and start of your stay with the necessities and more! Everything you néed to cook with is provided in the kitchen, we just had breakfast in the apartment. A short stroll to the beautiful Rhoscolyn beach and lots of coastal paths to explore. We ate and drank in the White Eagle pub, all excellent reviews for food and especially the staff who are so friendly and helpful. Could mostly park outside our accommodation too. Cannot fault our holiday and we will return. Affordable, high quality and very enjoyable. Thank you Little Nest and staff at the White Eagle!

The Little Nest

We had a three night stay in The Little Nest recently and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The location was great for exploring coastal walks and the beautiful beaches in the area. The White Eagle was an added bonus, welcoming staff and very dog friendly. We liked it so much we’ve booked to go again next year

Wish we could have stayed longer

Excellent stay at this lovely little property Great location near the beach and great to be next to The White Eagle with their lovely food and wonderful staff. Parking can sometimes be a problem but otherwise no complaints from us.

Location is awesome and being on site with the pub was greatt.

Upsides are location, on site with the pub, easy car parking, and very generous and comfy bedroom. It has a decent kitchen and adequate bathroom. Bathroom has limited shelf space, daft shower screen so careful placing so you don’t flood the floor but decent pressure. Very clean throughout. Any mobility issues note the stairs are steep. Overall we loved staying at the Little Nest. Great staff in the pub and good food with a great range of drinks. Value for money was outstanding.

A Lovely Hide Away

We wanted a quiet few days, in the sun, by the sea, not to far away from home, with the dog and near a pub. It was all that we wanted and more. We were 10 minutes walk from a lovely little beach. Above a very good pub, the White Eagle and the dog loved it. She was spoilt rotten by everyone. We will go again and explore the area more.

Perfect short stay apartment

We booked at short notice, and were not disappointed. A beautiful apartment, perfect for 2 people. It is in a beautiful location. The chairs in the bedroom were a little worn, but everything else is fine. Bed was huge and comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped, although no microwave. We would definitely return.

Very good location, friendly staff in the White Eagle, fantastic walks, lovely beach just ten minutes away. Parking not always available outside of our property. Lovely big comfortable bed. Can’t wait to go back.

Little nest review.

I think it’s important to mention that our stay at the little nest although very enjoyable and comfortable you are in a bed sit. It’s compact and you have all you need to eat and sleep but I wouldn’t stay for more than a few days. We can’t fault the cleanliness and it is tastefully decorated.

Great escape

The Little Nest is great for a weekend away, the bedroom was more spacious than expected & the bed was super comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfasts & an evening meal ( be aware there is no microwave if you do use one) Best of all just downstairs in The White Eagle there is great food & drink with lovely welcoming staff.
