Welcome to our historic 'hidden gem' Taylour House built in 1468 for the Lord Mayor of London.

Quiet yet town centre location with local amenities on your doorstep. Easy reach of Central London, (Edenbridge Town station 10 mins walk) Gatwick and Heathrow.

Taylour House is a Grade II * listed property in the heart of Edenbridge.

As you walk in the front door you are greeted with a large modern kitchen with island. We have made sure to supply guests with enough plates, cutlery and glasses for a large dinners or gatherings.

Through the kitchen is the dining room, which sits 10 guests and is quite often been voted the 'favourite room' with previous guests.

There is another door from the kitchen to the lounge, with two large sofas, footstool and a large 54 inch Smart TV. There is also an enormous fireplace/inglenook with wood burner for cold winter nights.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all you will need to prepare a Sunday Roast to a Saturday night supper party. Featuring a fridge freezer, Smeg range 6 ring gas cooker with ovens, coffee machine, microwave, wine chiller and a dishwasher to make cleaning up after a large party easy. All utensils are provide including serving plates.

There is also a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.

Upstairs on the first floor you will find 2 bedrooms both with king size beds. Each of these bedrooms have large fireplaces. (one bedroom with an ensuite shower room.) There is also a twin bedroom and a family bathroom on this floor. The bathroom has a wonderful large roll top bath for a relaxing soak, and a large walk in shower.

On the second floor you will find another 2 super cozy bedrooms with double beds. We provide all guests with 1 large bath sheet, hairdryer and bathroom toiletries.

Other things to Note:
We do provide Tea, Coffee and other cooking essentials such as oil, salt and spices.
For those travelling with infants, we do provide a travel cot and high chair, however we would ask you bring your own cot blankets and sheets.
For those travelling with dogs, we request that dogs are not allowed upstairs and certainly are not allowed on the furniture.

Outside there is a seating area and 2 parking spaces for guest use. For any extra cars, then there is a large free car park 1 min walk away so again all very easy.
Hever Castle, Chartwell, Chiddingstone Castle, Penshurst Place, Lingfield Race Course and Squerryes (perfect for wine tasting) amongst others are all within a short distance away.

We are ideally located for the keen golfers, with the following golf courses on the doorstep, Limpsfield, Hever, Lingfield, Sweetwoods, Holtye to name a few.

There are also some wonderful walks and gastropubs within easy distance.

For the keen gardeners, Royal Botanic Gardens at Wakehurst Place is a must. (20 mins drive) or Sissinghurst Gardens (60 mins)
