Beautifully furnished bespoke luxury apartment, situated in the historical upper hill area of Lincoln.

The rear view of the property provides stunning views looking over the city of Lincoln, and frontal views capture the impressive historical and medieval sights of the Lincoln Cathedral and Lincoln Castle.

This 1876 Castle Mount Apartment thrives on its period features, with high ceilings, doors & archways, and decorated elegantly adding a modern twist to its Victorian heritage.
Parking is available on site for two vehicle during your stay at Castle Mount. This is the perfect location for those of you who want to visit tourist interests in Lincoln. On arrival you will receive a welcome basket consisting of tea, coffee,milk, sugar condiments, biscuits,water,tote bag and a bottle of wine, complimentary spa slippers and brochures of local tourist attractions and places to eat and drink in the traditional Bailgate of Lincoln. We politely refuse pets, and please adhere to the no smoking or vaping policy, in the property on your stay. Fresh hand and bath towels will be provided and vary in amount depending on your stay duration. You will be given a code on the day of your arrival to collect your key from the key safe at the front door.
Accommodation sleeps 6. One master bedroom with king size bed, two bed side tables and lamps, dressing table with mirror,bedroom chair,also provided hairdryer and clothes rail,also large electric fan on stand,ensuite with large shower,toilet and sink.
Second double bedroom with a bedside table,lamp,electric fan and wardrobe.
Third bedroom with double bed.two bedsides with lamps and a built-in wardrobe.
Living Room & Dining Area is found in the rear of the guesthouse. Relax on the large luxurious corner suite, with free high-speed Wi-Fi,enjoy your favourite shows on the flat screen TV. Have a bite to eat at the dining table with 6 chairs looking over at that breath taking view of Lincoln.
Kitchen containing all your basic needs for your self-catering break. Gas hob with electric oven. Microwave. Toaster. Kettle. Coffee Machine (6 pods provided). Fridge Freezer. All cooking equipment, utensils, mugs, glasses, cutlery & tableware. Washing machine (wash powders and softeners provided). Clothes airer. Iron & Ironing board. Castle mount

The house was really well presented, clean, with all the extras you would expect. It is walking distance to all the amenities with parking . It was great value for money to . I would definitely recommend to others and will return. My only complaint is we still haven’t received the 100 insurance deposit back and it’s been3 weeks but I’m not sure how long this will take .

Lovely comfortable apartment with excellent views and parking. Located very close to castle and cathedral. Host very helpful when we left something behind. Please send your 'not long now' email at least 24 hours ahead.

Excellent stay

Had a wonderful stay! The apartment is gorgeous, the photos don’t do it justice! The bedrooms are finished off to a very high standard. The bed was one of the comfiest I’ve slept in! The kitchen had all utensils needed and a lovely welcome box with water bottles, tea, coffee and biscuits. The cosy blankets were a lovely touch in the living room. Amazing views of the city and castle! Will definitely stay here again!

Stunning location

Beautiful well equipped apartment which looks out onto Lincoln. Excellent communication and questions answered quickly. The apartment is on a big hill so if you struggle with mobility it's maybe not the place for you: however taxis could be a consideration. Lincoln is a beautiful place so definitely worth a visit, we are hoping to return soon and would definitely use this apartment again

Great apartment and super location with a few niggles.

Great apartment (#1) and location. Mostly good sized rooms. Parking tight for 2 cars with deep gravel making it awkward to exit due to lack of traction. Kitchen a little small for the size of apartment. TV had no signal so missed the Euro England game we were hoping to see. Had to contact management about deposit refund - finally sorted but took 11 days. Super views of the city from the living room and castle/cathedral very short walk. Decent restaurants and bars very nearby. Would stay again.

Disappointing disaster

Unfortunately my story and plethora of problems is far too long to fit in this box. But summary it was a disaster. Whilst the property is lovely, clean, well equipped and modern I had possibly the most stressful booking experience of my life. Firstly, the funds were taken out of my bank directly from the hosts property investment business rather than Vrbo as usual. And when taken were done so as a cash transaction for an investment causing bank charges. The host does not reply to messages on Vrbo at all. Rarely answers the phone (many failed attempts by both Vrbo customer services and I), makes empty promises, ignores e-mails until he’s forced to reply and when i came to him with the problems of how the money had been taken, as advised by my bank to try resolve the problem, he largely told me that it wasn’t his problem, that it was between me, my bank and Vrbo and was somewhat rude and annoyed that I was ‘trying to put it on him’. I am the customer after all. It took 2 weeks of chasing e-mails sent every 2-3 days to finally get my damage deposit back. I’ve lost hours of time on the phone to Vrbo and my bank and after multiple broken promises of being reimbursed for my losses I have now given up and moved on as I don’t want it dragging on over the next 2 months to obtain my losses back. This box is too small to go into much more detail but my advice would be that the property isn’t worth the headache and you should just stay in one of the other many properties in the city.

Very close to the well known Bailgate area of Lincoln with an abundance of very good Pubs and restaurants.
There are great views overlooking Lincoln City also views of the Castle and Cathedral.
The apartment is in a great position to explore what Lincoln has to offer.

The city of Lincoln is one of England's most historic cities, with the impressive Norman castle and one of the finest medieval cathedrals in Europe. The city also benefits from two well-regarded universities, a fantastic entertainment district and a wealth of bars and restaurants. The property is situated on the edge of the historic bailgate area of Lincoln, a popular part of the city with picturesque streets and historic interest, as well as having a superb selection of amenities, schools and excellent transport links. The A15 and the A46 roads provide direct access to the north and south of the county. There are also direct trains to London and Edinburgh from Newark Northgate, within easy reach of Lincoln.
