Lying in a quiet setting in the village of Spelsbury, just two miles from Charlbury, Springhill Lodge offers the best of both worlds. A tranquil place to stay surrounded by stunning countryside, yet with many local attractions close by to explore. Picturesque landscapes surround the property and village with rolling green hills - footways and bridleways leading across fields, rivers, streams and woodland paths.

The heart of the house really delivers, upon entering the property you are greeted by the showstopper double height vaulted sitting area with exposed Oak frame. The perimeter is completely glazed and this fills the open plan living space with natural light. With ample comfortable seating, smart tv, Bose bluetooth speakers and a cosy log burner making it the perfect place to kick back, relax and socalize with your group.

The White painted timber floor runs through to the modern country style kitchen which has hand painted cabinetry, a large island unit, wooden top surfaces, belfast sink, traditional AGA and Nespresso coffee machine. The kitchen is spacious and fully-equipped with appliances and everything you could need for your self catering stay, a wonderful space for the whole group to spend time together.

A separate utility room is located at the back of the kitchen. There is a butlers sink, washing machine, tumble dryer, ceiling clothes airer, iron and ironing board.

A large wooden rustic style table with benches and cushions provides seating for the whole group. Doors open from the living space onto the terrace to the rear of the house, - a place to linger over your morning coffee as you ease into the day with the sounds and views of the surrounding countryside. A further terraced seating area wraps round to the rear of the house and looks over the lawn and views beyond.

To the rear of the property you will find a cosy snug area with smart TV and sofas. A downstairs WC can also be found to the rear of the house.

Upstairs you will find four stylish and well presented bedrooms.

- The master bedroom has a King sized bed, smart TV, dressing table with lighted vanity mirror and an ensuite bathroom with walk in shower and double sinks. Doors open up onto the balcony outside.

A graveled area at the front of the property creates a private driveway where there is parking for up to six cars.

Two well behaved dogs are welcome on request only and for a small additional fee. We ask that dogs are reframed from going upstairs or on the furniture. Please note that although the garden is fenced it is not 'dog proof'. Please refer to photos.

Guest access
Guests will have access to the whole house. Some cupboards may be closed to guests as this is where owners keep their personal belongings but we ensure to provide ample storage for your own belongings.

Other things to note
Please note that this is the owners home that Is rented out when they are away traveling or working. Professional cleaners come in to prepare the property before and after your stay. Dogs live at the property when the owners are in residence.
