I booked this property through Expedia and, while the listing appeared promising, my experience quickly went downhill. Communication was poor from the start, as I had to chase for basic details about accessing the property.
The listing stated that parking was available, but on arrival I was informed this was incorrect. Although the advertisement was updated shortly afterward, I have a screenshot showing what was originally advertised.
I was also told my booking was actually processed through VRBO, which was not the case â my booking was made directly through Expedia. When I advised that I would be checking in at 10:30pm, I was informed this would not be possible because the key collection point closes at 10pm. As a result, I had to cut my business trip in London short, which was far from ideal. While efforts were made to arrange for a cleaner to meet me, this was poorly managed and would have required me to wait another 30 minutes after almost returning to the collection point.
To add to the frustration, the beds were uncomfortable.
Overall, I would advise anyone considering this property to double-check the accuracy of the listing before booking.
