Adjacent to the kitchen is a charming boot room benefitting from a bench, hooks for hanging outdoor gear, space for two bikes and all your outdoor gear making it perfect for adventurers exploring the nearby trails. A small welcome basket for your furry friends can be found here, you may use this storage space for bikes and any other belongings. The first floor is a sanctuary of indulgence. A short walk brings you from the market square along cobblestone streets past quaint cottages and picturesque gardens to the historic upper town. In the market square there is an abundance of small shops, cafes and gift stores. The town offers a range of amenities within walking distance. A charming bakery serves freshly baked goods and coffee every morning. An award winning butchers, a Booths supermarket and a fantastic array of pubs and restaurants have all your needs covered. A local market offers a wide-range of fresh produce, gourmet cheeses and handcrafted goods every Tuesday. However, less than five minutes drive brings you to a nationally recognised and newly expanded cheesemongers at the Courtyard Dairy. For those seeking a taste of adventure, a bike rental shop provides the opportunity to explore the surrounding countryside on two wheels. You can usually find free on street parking in the nearby streets, we donât think that Castlebergh Lane is wide enough to leave your car for anything other than unloading, wherever you do park please do so carefully to avoid blocking the narrow lanes in upper Settle and note that parking in Settle town centre is controlled by disk parking, free disks are available from most shops in Settle and must be displayed in your windscreen but parking is restricted to a few hours. The nearest public car park to the cottage is Greenfoot car park (BD24 8HL) a few minutes walk from the cottage ÂŁ15 for a weeks parking. As you leave the exit to Greenfoot car park there is usually free unrestricted on street parking at W3W crest.cook.spans Grid Reference SD 820 633. Look out for signs to the library as you can usually park along this road. Another good place to try is Victoria St (a 2 minute walk). W3W fingertip.outbid.alarming Grid Reference SD 821 634
