Top notch accommodation, walking distance to most amenities and very customer oriented property manager that will make sure to provide the expected service
In St. Johnâs for a family wedding. From St. John's originally so know the city well. Booked 40 Brine St - usually stay with friends but with their daughter getting married...
Location is great. Very close to downtown - easily within walking distance for most folks, yet far enough from there (hello, George St.!) to be quiet. Convenience store on the corner is a nice extra.
Building is pretty much brand new. Indoor parking with direct entry to the condo is a nice feature in the winter but it is tight: anything larger than a midsize car probably wonât fit. Lots of room inside the condo and generally well equipped. Being new there are some things that would help (chest of drawers in the master instead of just a few shelves in the closet). Expect they will adapt as more rental feedback is received.
Master and second bedroom at opposite ends so lots of privacy for a family or two couples. Two full baths upstairs and half bath downstairs so no issues there. Kitchen is quite large and lots of room in the living room/dining room area.
Our host Ana was the biggest plus of our stay. Very easy to reach; very pleasant and accommodating. We were missing an iron - she asked if 20 minutes was too long to bring one over or if we needed it sooner! Made our stay to know we were in good hands - thanks, Ana!!!
No problem recommending for a stay in St. Johnâs based on our experience. Weâre back for another wedding in July - same friends, busy year! Will definitely consider staying there again.
We had a great time staying in this townhouse. Itâs brand new and very attractive and clean . The garage is difficult to get into if you have a full sized vehicle so I would recommend a small car. We rented a Dodge Charger and the angle to get it in the garage was near impossible. We just parked in front of the residence and it was perfectly fine. The owners also offered to drop off a parking pass for the neighborhood but there was no need.
They were very responsive to any questions we had. There were lovely fresh flowers waiting in the apartment.
We walked downtown everyday - takes no time at all. That was a bonus. Also a Tim Hortons within walking distance if you wish.
The only thing that would be make it better is some outdoor furniture which we suggested to the owners already. Even just a couple of chairs to sit outside would be great. There are a few decks - one that has a water view up top.
There is plenty of room and lots of linens. The washer and dryer are great and worked well. Itâs a very modern house.
A wine opener and tea pot would also be useful. Also lightbulbs for the lamps. I think the place is just super new and theyâre working out the kinks.
Overall we loved the place and would recommend it to anyone. There are a lot of stairs though so if you have mobility issues it may not work.
Great place to stay !
Due to unforeseen circumstances, this Brine Street location was not available for our stay. However, the owners relocated us to a Front Street condo with a marvellous location: a great view of a working harbour and within walking distance of restaurants and charming shops. The Front Street condo was large, well equipped, and stylishly furnished. The owners, Dereck and Ana were great to work with.
