This was a perfect spot for my family and I. Big corner lot. Very clean, no issues during our week long stay. Host was quick to responding back with me. Definitely look forward to staying here again.

Beautiful property

Perfect spot for a quiet family vacation. Saw lots of birds, fish, squirrel, & turkey from backyard. Loved the screened in porch! The few neighbors we met were very friendly!

Great Time

We had a great time and by far our favorite rental in the area. We found this place when our regular place was removed. The kayaks were the best! We enjoyed visiting the springs close by!

The nature on river was incredible

We saw manatees a little baby gator some of the coolest birds owls and the springs just to list a few while we were there on the river. Very quiet and cozy

Great little home for a family get away

Sue was great to deal with, extremely helpful and willing to go out of her way to make our stay comfortable. The property was wonderful, allowing us to kayak daily, walk to the “crack” for a little piece of heaven and easy access to many amenities. The house was very clean and comfortable, well stocked with what we needed to vacation with our children and two young grandchildren. Wonderful experience!!

Family overflow

We rented this little place for a large family gathering. We live in the area and needed some extra sleeping space for out of town family. It definitely met our needs. Clean, with comfortable beds. Stacey was easy to work with as we had some family fly in on the redeye and we wanted an earlier check in.

Loved it!

Peaceful spot on the water. Very clean and communication with the owner was perfect. As stated, not fancy, but the perfect place to unwind and spend quality mother/daughter time in nature. We swam with the manatees, fished off the dock, kayaked the beautiful river and springs, and enjoyed a fire in the fire pit. Would definately love to stay here again!

Sweet getaway

Love our stay. Clean, simple fun. We were able our bring our fur babies, which is a huge plus for us. Owner was able to get back with us quickly. Waterfront and close to local stores. Outside of actual food, everything we needed was at the house. Will rent again.

Fun on the river

I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a quiet get away on the river. Canoes, kayaks, even has a boat house. Place is clean and comfortable. I was able to bring my boat for the weekend and my brother brought his. Even has 2 docks to tie up your boat if need be. We had friends staying at a cabin down the road and had plenty of room to entertain them as well when they stopped by. Pet friendly as well. Highly recommend :)

Love it when my guests love it. Thanks for great 5 star review. Please come again. The location on the corner lot is awesome n close proximity to the seven sisters springs. The perfect paddle. Chill out in the constant 72 degree springs and see the wildlife to and fro.

Christmas Getaway

We came down to Homosassa for Christmas with my daughter and her boyfriend. It was their first chance to see the manatees and fish in the Chaz. The Cool Chaz was a great place to stay and enjoy all the River had to offer. Sue was a great host and was quick to bring us extra heaters when the temperature dropped well below freezing. We had a great time.

All the comforts of home

This cozy house had all the comforts of home and then some! Except for food we had everything we needed provided for us. Plenty of space for 4 adults to spread out and relax in between visiting family and exploring the area. My men loved having the kayaks/canoe to explore the Chaz. Such a wonderful location. Susan was an exceptional host and promptly responded to any questions. I"ve highly recommended this property to my family for their visits to the area and hope to stay there again soon.

Spring Fed and Spring Forward Family

Our Family had a wonderful time staying at this Vacation Home. The home and location was exciting for our Family members. Going to the Springs and Diving was really fun for our Grandchildren. We Fishef in the evening and played board games that the property owner had available! Most of all not worrying about renting canoes and kayaks was definitely a Plus. Awesome canal waterfront, great host communication. Peaceful

Me and my family traveled here to visit my dad, and we had 4 adults, and two toddlers, and overall it was a blast! Even though the house is surrounded by other homes, it is very private (as it is on the end of a street, and there’s water surrounding it). The neighbors near by are very polite and kind. There are kayaks available for exploring the river (which is my favorite part). There is a Walmart, gas stations, and other convenient stores not 10 minutes away. The food here is amazing. Overall, it is a perfectly situated semi-private rental That anyone will enjoy.

Chazz Getaway

We had a wonderful time! My best friend and her family visited us from Texas and we wanted her first trip to Florida to be perfect!! The house was comfy and inviting, the property was clean and the owner was amazing. She was very helpful friendly and accommodating. We did some fishing off the dock, kayaked the chassahowitzka river, swam in at the crack and visited seven sister springs. We will definitely be back in the future!! 😊

Paddleboard Paradise

My wife and I are avid paddleboarders and this was our best eco tourism and paddleboard trip ever! The property sits on a canal that is a straight paddle to the beautiful Chaz River. The water was fantastic and we saw countless animals to include otters and turtles. Susan took care of everything. Very soft towels and sheets, everything was labeled in the house and how to use it. She is pet friendly which is very important to us as my dog loves paddle boarding with me. We had an amazing time and hope to be back.

Nature Lover's Retreat

Since it was winter, the steam off the water was beautiful in the mornings, however the water level was too low for any water activities. But it was too chilly for that anyway. To compensate we had bonfires each evening to warm the chilly air. Birds everywhere singing and being on a cul-de-sac, it was safe for our little dogs. Very enjoyable. Thank you Sue.
