The original hall built in 1748 has been previously used as headquarters in the Second World War, before being converted to a girl’s boarding school in the later 1940s, and most recently has been undergoing extensive refurbishment to be restored to its former glory. Finest Retreats are pleased to offer a fantastic spacious apartment within Hickleton Hall for up to nine guests, with access to part of the 17 acres of gardens and woodland.
Transport back in time when you enter the sweeping driveway and are met by the eye-catching period property. With parking for multiple vehicles, enter via your own private entrance on the ground floor, where the beauty of the historic building continues in the elegant chapel bedroom, with gorgeous sky views through the glass ceiling providing generous natural light. With steps down to the lower ground floor, find two king size bedrooms and separate bathroom with shower. Along the wide-open corridor, a diner/kitchenette with microwave, kettle, and coffee machine.
Recently opened for June 2023, a new lounge/games room with piano, pool table, smart TV and Wi-Fi – an ideal room for family get togethers and making memories. Along with the new fourth bedroom, including a king size four poster bed and period furniture.
