Introducing Badgers Lodge, a beautiful 3-bed detached cottage located in Mill Village on the award-winning Lower Mill Estate. This beautiful home is set in a nature reserve within 500 acres of Cotswold countryside. Built in traditional Cotswold stone, the cottage sits on a stream and has its very own large private garden, which is one of only a few properties to benefit from this additional outside space. Only a few yards from the River Thames and Somerford Lagoon, the largest lake on the estate.
SLEEPS 7 - (MAX 5 x ADULTS + 1-2 x CHILDREN + COTS)

Bedroom 1: Triple bunk bed (small 4ft double bed on bottom, single on top)
Bedroom 2: Double bed
Bedroom 3: King-size with en-suite
PLEASE NOTE that the small 4ft double on the triple bunkbed is not suitable for 2 adults (couple); we would recommend using this as a single bed only, or for 2 x small children who are happy sharing only.

By making a reservation you are accepting the Lower Mill Estate's Code of Conduct as per the Terms & Conditions on behalf of yourself and your guests.
STATED GROUP SIZE: Bookings are accepted on the group size & configuration stated at the time of booking. Any changes to this would require permission. Lower Mill Estate is a gated and warden controlled private estate and we provide the Estate with all guest group sizes and group dynamics prior to arrival, which are confirmed at the time of booking.
DAY VISITORS: Day visitors to the Property may be permitted with our prior consent, at our discretion, provided that the total group (including visitors) does not exceed the maximum occupancy of the Property.
SPA ACCESS: All but a 5 minute walk to the Luxury Spa complex, of which you get full rental access during your stay, allowing you and your family and friends to use the indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Outdoor pools are closed during the low season.
NATURE FIRST: Lower Mill Estate is a nature first environment and we are all guests of nature. As such, things like certain lakes being closed in off season for nesting, low level lighting at night, reeds being left to grow to full height, is part of managing the unique environment and eco system.
PARKING: Each property on the Estate has one designated parking space within a few yards of their front door. All other vehicles can make use of the nearby additional communal visitor spaces and/or the overflow car parks. Please do try and limit the number of cars where possible.
TRAVEL COT OPTION: We are unable to supply bedding or a mattress thicker than the âwrap around baseâ that the travel cot comes with. For your reference, the approx. size of a standard travel cot is 60-65cm x 95-100cm.
BBQs: Due to insurance restrictions & potential health & safety compliance issues, we have removed BBQs from each property. Therefore, please remember to pack your own, or alternatively purchase a disposable BBQ for alfresco cooking.
LAKE SAFETY: The garden/decking areas could be open to the water, so additional care must be taken at all times.
