Iris Studio Ponte Caldelas to rest peacefully

Four renovated spaces respecting the natural rhythm of the house (built before 1800), ideal for a retreat, rejuvenation, and connecting with each of the four solar goddesses that inspire it. Natural materials like stone and wood, in harmony with new technologies, Wi-Fi, and home automation, are integrated into a comfortable and centrally located space that allows you to enjoy the natural surroundings and beautiful walks along the river, so that when you get home, you can treat yourself to a relaxing hydromassage shower. Voice commands can be used for the lights and the water heater, as well as to play music, set an alarm, or request information.

The Iris Studio, located on the second floor of a charming building in the heart of Ponte Caldelas, features a fully furnished open-plan kitchen and a king-size bed for maximum comfort. This studio is also fully automated, so you can control everything with voice commands and enjoy the luxury of natural materials, such as stone and wood, while you enjoy a hydromassage shower or a nap.

The Iris studio is located on the second floor and has two windows overlooking the interior courtyard with shutters that close for complete darkness while sleeping. It features a very high, sloping ceiling.

Each studio includes a built-in wardrobe, a 180 x 200 cm double bed, and bed linen and towels are provided. All kitchens are equipped with a microwave, induction hob, Italian coffee maker, sink, and other cooking utensils. The private bathroom has a hydromassage shower, a sink with hand soap and a glass, a toilet, a toilet brush, and toilet paper. The sliding door is made of glass. Pets are welcome.

Entry to the building is via a code, and entry to the studio is also via a numerical code. The street is pedestrianized, so car access is limited (you can drive close enough to unload your luggage). There is plenty of free parking nearby, easily accessible; we especially recommend parking near the river. The riverside promenade begins 50 meters from the 4soles. A daily swim at the river beach is guaranteed!

Los 4 Soles has been the family home since before 1800, a house built by the great-great-great-grandfather, a renowned stonemason. Upon his death, he left his tools to his son in Ourense, a place so difficult to reach at that time that the great-great-grandfather never even went to collect them. He was the blacksmith who crafted the suns on the balcony, the balusters of the staircase, and many other delicate pieces typical of the area, establishing his own school of craftsmanship. The restoration was carried out primarily by artists of various nationalities who came to the site and offered their skill and dedication to create a beautiful, welcoming, and family-friendly atmosphere for our guests. Now, Los 4 Soles is fully renovated and conveniently located on a quiet pedestrian street in the historic center of Ponte-Caldelas, next to the natural beauty of the Verdugo River. It retains its original architectural features and utilizes natural materials such as wood and stone, perfectly harmonized with the advanced technology required in modern life.
