Perfect beach getaway. Short walk to a beautiful private beach. Clean and fun house with plenty of space and fun things included for the family if desired.
Very cozy and cabin like. Great place to relax. Exactly what we needed. Has so much stuff, be sure to check hallway cabinets and storage space! Lots of family fun in this house.
Lovely place with everything needed for our stay.Short walk to the private community beach which was very nice. Found lots of small shark teeth.Restaurants and shops not too far away.Loved it and would definitely stay again.
Cedar Beach lodge was just right for our family. We had hoped to spend lots of time hunting for fossils at the beach. The beach is beautiful. We spent many hours found lots of fossils and had fun at the waterâs edge. .
Quiet and quaint. If you are looking for a getaway, this is the place. Clean and well stocked- very much appreciated for a quick trip to end the summer.
This property was fantastic!! The beach was peaceful and not crowded at all. The location felt secluded yet was a short 10-15 minute drive to the grocery/food. Our trip was quick this time, but we could have easily spent a week here.
This was the perfect weekend getaway for our family. The Lodge had everything we needed and more. Found lots of sea glass on the beach, which was just a short walk away. Thanks again for a lovely time away.
This is a charming house; well equipped kitchen, lots of games, books and a myriad of beach accessories that were available to use which is so generous! Really short walk to the beach area. The lighthouse is also a short distance which is definitely worth the visit. Property manager is great to work with!
Such a nice and cozy comfortable house. The homey decor and welcoming layout makes you feel right at home. Short walk to the beach and a quiet small neighborhood. The house had everything we could need from kitchen utensils and spices to beach equipment! Hosts are super kind and responsive. Great place
This house is the perfect size and layout for a small, close family (although with extra travelers it might feel a little tight). We came down for Fall Break and found everything we needed. The private beach is a short walk away and there are more than enough outdoor toys/bikes/beach equipment to take advantage of. We'll be back!
We loved the house! The host reached out b/c a tree had damaged the chimney & fireplace. She offered a discount and we are so happy we accepted! It was wonderful! The home is well stocked, clean, great location, and even has towels for the dog! They thought of everything. We tried to think of things they didn't have still working on that! Book this house! The host was fabulous to work with and we will go again.
Well maintained and clean property with lots of character. Plenty of kitchenware for cooking and loads of games for family time. Under the house there are chairs, bikes, sun umbrellas and everything you'll need for the beach.
The beach is only a few minutes walk and was fabulous and quiet - we watched the sunrise and sunset on most days. The area has some nice bars and restaurants, but it's not a major city, so is quiet and unhurried.
House is very geared towards families with all the beach equipment, bikes, games, toys, etc., it was also perfect for our party of three. We found the house provided us with everything we needed, I especially like the screened in porch. We all agreed that it is a house we would like to rent again.
The beach is a leisurely 5 minute walk away where we hunted for beach glass and sharkâs teeth.
Highly recommended! We had a wonderful long weekend at Cedar Beach Lodge. The house was exactly what we hoped for - light-filled, comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchen, gas fireplace indoors for chilly March mornings, and a short walk to the beach and lighthouse at Cove Point. Our kids were delighted to find Miocene fossil shark teeth and shells. The owners were responsive and kind -- we'll definitely be back!
Met there with my son, who is stationed here, and his family. His Aunt and I were very excited to spend some time all together. He lives nearby and showed us all around. We enjoyed the bonfires at night and spending time looking for teeth and shells on the private beach. Itâs a fabulous house. Lots of comfy beds.. Steps warning though.
This house was super clean, felt amazing. It is equipped with anything you could possibly think of for your relaxation, beach day or staying in. There is nothing negative that I can add to this review, book it! You will not be disappointed. The owners were super responsive and accommodating. House has plenty of space and yet felt so cozy.
My family, friends, and I truly enjoyed our long weekend stay. All the amenities you can think of were available, especially beach gear. The beach was a walk down the street and it was mostly bare (on Memorial Day Weekend!) Addtionally, it was a quick and easy trip to a Calvert Cliffs. I highly recommend staying here. Space is a little tight, the only flaw.
