Summary:
You'll feel like you're in your own Mediterranean oasis at Patara 146, with an attractive outside space and beautiful views of Kalkan and the Taurus Mountains. This 4 bedroom villa is set within the fantastic Club Patara complex. It has a bright and homely feel with expansive seating areas throughout. What's more, the old town of Kalkan and the vibrant harbour area and roof top restaurants are a short boat trip away. A spectacular hidden gem.
The Space:
This is a private gated community. From the street, there is a short pathway and the front door, which opens directly into the stunningly elegant dining area and elevated L-shaped lounge with fireplace. It is quite simply breathtaking when you walk through the front door.
The L-shaped kitchen can be accessed via the ornate staircase on the ground floor and has all the modern conveniences for an enjoyable stay. A dining table and chairs feature in the centre. Patio doors open up onto an expansive private covered terrace with outdoor dining table and chairs, alongside further rattan style seating for that early morning coffee with views across Kalkan.
The main open plan living room is elegant with 3 sets of patio doors leading out to the covered terrace and large infinity pool. It is unique by having its own conservatory set within the confines of the living area.
The 3 double bedrooms and twin bedroom are comfortably furnished with ample storage space. Each with their own en-suite bathroom and views towards the sea, Kalkan and the Taurus mountains. The master bedroom has a classic feel to it with its wooden panelled wall.
The outside area is delightful - a real highlight! There's a large private pool set within a bordered garden full of Mediterranean plants, exotic palms and colourful shrubs providing a serene setting to relax and enjoy your stay. Plenty of space also for sunbathing and enjoying lazy days around the pool. There's a poolside BBQ and covered terrace with a rattan table and chairs. From here, the views of Kalkan can be enjoyed whilst dining alfresco. This space inhabits the colourful rock formations of Patara as a continuation of outside.
When looking for additional serenity and escape, perhaps over a glass of wine, the rooftop covered terrace is a delight with its comfortable Turkish style seating.

As a retreat from the rigours of modern life, Kalkan is little short of idyllic!
Nestled around a sheltered natural harbour at the foot of the majestic Taurus Mountains, this unspoilt historic town overlooks a bay of breathtaking beauty.
A thriving Greek fishing village called Kalamaki until the 1920s; Kalkan is now largely devoted to high-end tourism.
Look out for Kalkan's charms in the compact old town including the picturesque harbour, shops, and various eateries including cafés, bars and fine dining restaurants.
The town is well served by banks and supermarkets. There is a large Thursday market in town and a smaller local market in the neighbouring village of Akbel on a Sunday.
The harbour area caters for all, including a small pebble beach, beach clubs (many of which can be reached by a frequent boat shuttle service); watersports clubs; and not forgetting the very popular past-time of a day at sea.
If you wish to venture beyond Kalkan, a visit to Kas (20min drive) would be highly recommended or to Fethiye, which is very popular for shopping.
Getting Around:
You can walk into town or access the small boat service to the harbour or take a short taxi ride into town.
If you wish to venture further, the taxi service can take you to many of the popular tourist attractions. However, should you wish to hire a car, the This Is Kalkan team can make all the necessary arrangements on your behalf.
