Rose Shepherd's Hut is a pretty romantic hot tub break near Rhayader in Mid Wales. This dog friendly Shepherd's Hut has an enclosed garden, private hot tub and idyllic scenery.

Rose Shepherd's Hut is a traditional Shepherds Hut sleeping two in Wales's outdoors capital. It's solid hand crafted woodwork, log burner and luxurious king sized bed make this a cosy retreat at any time of year. What's more, it's pet friendly accommodation with an enclosed garden. So your furry friend can enjoy wandering freely and sunbathing on the decking too!

The beautifully crafted kitchenette has a two ring hob, combi microwave-oven, fridge, toaster and kettle. So you can dine out in the local town of Rhayader, pick up a takeaway or whip up a tasty meal or barbecue back at your homely little bolthole for two.

On chilly Autumn nights, underfloor heating will keep you toasty warm. Or light up the charming little wood burner and get cosy on the plush King size bed. Switch on the Smart TV and get stuck into your favourite series on Netflix as you snuggle up together.

The neat shower room comes complete with hand basin, flushing WC, shower & heated towel rail.

If relaxing is what you need, this really is the place for you. With its outdoor decked area complete with private hot tub, fire pit and outdoor seating for alfresco dining. Where better to crack open a bottle of bubbly and watch the sun go down over the rolling hills. Simply heavenly!

Brilliant stay with the dogs

Perfect setting, a little small for two boxers but we managed, very cosy! Helpful staff, the dogs loved the garden very ideal size wise and enclosed, will definitely be returning next year to give the bigger cabins a go :)

Weekend away

We had a fantastic 3 night break staying in Rose. Everything we needed was provided, the hot tub was very nice even in the rain and to top it off the underfloor heating was a real winner for both ourselves and our dog Ralph. The log burner was a nice touch too. I'd highly recommend staying here and would definitely book another visit.

Perfect stay

We stayed in Rose for a long weekend. It had everything we needed and was just lovely. Our only gripes were that there were no instructions for the oven/grill/microwave and the hot tub wasn't as warm as we thought it would be, we lasted no more than 15 minutes before we had to get out

Idyllic stay!

My husband and I had a lovely, relaxing stay at Rose. Check in was super easy and the little shepherds hut was in a lovely quiet area which felt secluded around the hot tub area and plenty of space if you have a four legged friend with you! Everything was thought of and the hut is brilliantly laid out and all space was utilised perfectly, not cramped at all. We were gutted that we only booked two nights there as we definitely wanted to stay for longer. We’ve already recommended to friends and family! Thank you Holiday Wales!

Very clean and tidy, located in the most perfect area, plenty to do and see! Hot tub was amazing and also had your own garden which was fenced of so that your furry friend can be free and do their own thing. Simply great!

Outstanding!

We absolutely loved our stay in the Rose Shepherd hut. This was five star ‘shepherd hutting’ and it exceeded our expectations! Thank you for the wonderful service from start to finish. We will be back again for sure - who can resist waking up to that view and watching it from the hot tub! Truly amazing!

We had an amazing stay in this lovely little shepherd’s hut! The bed was super comfy, and we loved how cosy everything felt. The enclosed garden was perfect for our dog—he absolutely loved the freedom to roam! (Though he wasn’t a fan of the stairs on the decking and kept trying to jump them every time! ) The highlight for us was the huge hot tub—we couldn’t believe how spacious it was! Such a perfect way to relax after a day out. We can’t comment much on the local area as we ventured further afield, but the hut itself was perfect. 10/10, would definitely recommend!. We will definitely return!

Absolutely Perfect Weekend

We want to thank you to all the team for our truly beautiful and relaxing stay at your Shepherds Hut, Rose. Everything was absolutely perfect - spotlessly clean, incredibly cosy, and so thoughtfully prepared for our stay. The hot tub was a real highlight and made our evenings feel extra special, and the real fire added such warmth, a very homely touch. It was the perfect escape from our very hectic lives. Our two furbabies also had the best time exploring the huge, safely enclosed garden - it gave us real peace of mind, and they loved every minute of it. We also really enjoyed getting out to the Elan Reservoir - the views were absolutely breathtaking and made for such a memorable day out. Thank you to all the team for such a wonderful stay. We cannot wait to book to come back and yes we would absolutely love a bit of discount on our next booking. Shame the discount can only be applied if you book your new holiday whilst on the current one. Not everyone is in a financial situation where they would be able to take advantage of this offer.
