Roxy was a great host! Answered any questions we had and quickly. The RV was clean and cozy. It was in a very quiet neighborhood and close to everything we needed.
The property was exactly as listed - and a lttle more. We wanted to sample the Florida RV life during our short stay on this leg of our vacation and this was perfect for that.
Perfect for what we needed. Host was amazing! Quick to respond, helpful, etc. My one suggestion: upgrade the mattresses. Very clean, great escape fro. The florida heat. Nice pool. 1 main issue was the park bathrooms (showers) closed early every night. The sign is posted for 9p, but some nights was closed as early as 730p. Not a HUGE deal since there is a bathroom in the RV, but the shower is small for some of us with a little extra fluff around the hips;-) but this was not Roxy's fault. 1 suggestion is to upgrade the matresses. The ones in the RV are very hard, and was happy we packed our own 3in memory foam pads (we pack them anytime we stay in an RV because the standard mattresses are never comfy.)
When I arrived and opened the door, it was super clean inside. Pros- small but mighty! Clean, AC worked great, nice size frig and freezer, 3 tvâs, decorated nicely, great RV park amenities- pool, laundry mat, pickle ball, tennis I believe, 2 fenced in areas for dogs to run off leash, club house, several dumpsters, bins for dog poop, feel safe environment! Outside picnic table. Cement area so no tracking in or dirt! Cons- blinds donât open on RV so you canât see out at all, kitchen sink barely had any water running out, no shade- the awning was broke off, the bed wasnât completely uncomfortable but it wasnât comfy either, the shower is tiny, the shower curtain did not help to keep water from getting all over the bathroom, hated that the sign on the bathroom wall says to not flush your toilet paper- yep- you read that correctly! Pots to cook but no frying pan, minimalistic stuff to cook with, an outside grill would be nice, no instructions- how to turn lights on, what to do with trash, what needs done when you leave, the smell of raw sewage was prettyvibrant at times, and no toaster. Overall the RV was great for what I needed it for but Iâm not sure I would do it again. The whole bathroom experience was what I disliked the most. From the tiny shower that I couldnât keep the water from getting all over everything to having to throw your toilet paper in a garbage can after going #1 or #2 was not fun. I suggested RV/biodegradable toilet paper.
