The Space:
The Cadet Suite by Bonjour Residences is a cosy two bedroom apartment in the heart of Edinburgh, with fantastic views directly on the Grassmarket. Make yourself at home with us!

**Please note there is a 10-15 min. walk, you can unload your belongings first.

The Neighborhood:
West Bow Edinburgh is a street with retail stores, pubs, night clubs and restaurants, starting from the east end of the Grassmarket and winding up to George IV Bridge. There are steps on the north side that connect to Castlehill and the Royal Mile. Victoria Street is a continuation of the West Bow which was created circa 1835 with demolition of many houses. The West Bow previously before George IV Bridge was built a Z shape narrow Wynd that connected the Grassmarket with Castlehill and the Lawnmarket. (More Harry Potter) Now the connection to Castlehill is steps that take you to the now named Upper Bow and Victoria Terrace a balcony walkway. The West Bow was extended by Victoria Street being a continuation of the West Bow to join George IV Bridge with the Grassmarket.

We can provide stays from 1 week, 1 month or 1 year or as long as you are working on your Edinburgh project.

We request a £200 security deposit at check-in, which will be returned after your stay. We also require all our guests to sign our in-house Terms & Conditions and to submit a copy of your ID, after you have booked with us.

Amazing location!!!

The location was absolutely perfect for our first trip to Edinburgh. Everything was within walking distance to all the sights. The property was clean with all the necessary amenities for our stay!

Right in tbe middle of all the action. Market place and concerts in the summer. Place was nice and we had a great time! Would recommend 👌

Great Grassmarket rental

Cute apartment right in the middle of Grassmarket with a nice layout. The living room has a great view over the square between the restaurants, while the bedrooms are in back and so more isolated from the noise. It was well stocked and worked well for us for the week we were there.

Unclean, Poor condition, overcharged

We considered this a very poor property, uncleaned in general, dirty towels from the last guest even though I was told that would be corrected, nothing was done. A hole in the floor big enough for my foot to go through, bedroom blind broken, mold in the bathroom. For the price I expected what was advertised in print and pictures. I travel globally and use VRBO a lot, never have had this type of experience and never complain but this property is in bad shape. I was also charged £180 for: 1) Late check out, which I did not do, I checked out on time. 2)Cleaning fee for a unit that was not clean when I arrived, including trash from the last occupant. 3) Early Check in? I arrived far past 4:00. Only good thing at this address is the location. If we weren't so pressed for time at the family event we were attending I would have checked out and moved to a hotel. Bonjour Residences should be embarrassed the way this property is managed and the City of Edinburgh should look into several safety concerns in the unit.
