2 night break

We had a 2 night stay at mountain view myself my wife and our puppy Labrador. Cleanliness very good and location not far from the town. The enclosed garden was one of the things we appreciated the most as it was safe for the dog with plenty of room for her to run around and exercise. Location was very picturesque, hot tub very welcome too and would definitely visit again.

A Perfect Mountain Getaway in Wales

We stayed at the Holiday Wales Mountain View Cabin, and it was totally worth it. The mountain views were stunning, and the cabin itself was absolutely fabulous—spotless, well-maintained, and very comfortable. All the equipment we needed was provided, which made our stay easy and stress-free. The cherry on top was the fire pit and the jacuzzi, which made the experience even more special and relaxing. The location is perfect for both short and long holidays, offering peace, comfort, and beautiful surroundings. Apologies to Julia—we didn’t have a pen with us, which is why we couldn’t leave a note on the card. A special thank you to Julie for keeping the cabin so clean and welcoming for us. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we will definitely be coming back, hopefully with a larger group next time!

We had an incredible stay here our second stay first we stayed in a shepherds hut and this time we stayed in a Mountain View - it’s such an incredible and relaxing stay with Rhayder just a short drive away Definitely recommend

Super relaxing break, lovely views super warm and cosy great garden for dogs. Could do with more information on walks and would benefit having a little shop on site, but a great place to stay plenty of space and lovely got tub

Lovely short stay location

Amazing base to go out and explore the countryside lots of great things to see such as dams and waterfalls. The Pod itself was clean and tidy with a hot tub which was amazing to sit in and watch the sun set. The surrounding area has some nice walks and wildlife everywhere was a very pleasant short 2 night stay would highly recommend.

Mountain View

Beautiful peaceful location to relax and chill out. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and had all that was necessary for our stay. The secure fenced garden was ideal to keep our dog safe during our stay. Thoroughly enjoyed spending time in the hot tub with such a superb view of the valley and surrounding mountains and fantastic sunsets. Will be back again in the future to enjoy a further break.

What a find!!

Mountain View pod certainly didn’t disappoint . Everything was just perfect. The pod was lovely and clean, the little touches of tea bags, milk, coffee, sugar, waffles and washing up bits were such a lovely touch. I can’t fault this place or the service at all and I’ll definitely be back. Such a beautiful place tucked out the way but close enough to get to other places easy enough. We absolutely loved it!!

Absolutely loved it!!

I booked this stay to get my puppy away from the fireworks this year and it was the best decision I ever made. It was isolated enough to be away from the bangs but close enough to the town for anything we needed. The property was perfectly cosy and Pedro had the best time and had complete freedom in the large garden, the hot tub was an added bonus . Thank you for a wonderful stay, I’m already looking to book for the same time next year ☺️

Lovely comfortable accommodation with beautiful views of the countryside. Safe enclosed garden for our dog. One of the double doors to the pod requires attention as the bolt was not secure at the top and needs repairing.

A lovely Weekend away

We stayed for 2 nights in the Mountain View pod, it was all ready for our arrival and they had opened the door for us before we arrived. The pod itself was very clean and had everything we needed for the weekend. We brought our dog with us and the enclosed garden was brilliant as it meant we could let him out of an evening without being worried he would escape. The view from the pod was gorgeous and we spent both nights in the hot tub. We took our dog for a walk round Elan valley in the day time which is 10 mins drive from the pods and had dinner in a local pub which was also dog friendly. We had a lovely weekend here and would definitely come again

Lovely countryside setting

Positives: fabulous setting, wonderful views, large garden gives plenty of outside space, hot tub fab, the cabin is comfortable & mostly has everything you’d need. Negatives: boiler not far from bed so kept me awake all night (I’m a light sleeper). No mirror anywhere. Blinds are useless so don’t expect a dark room when sleeping. Lots of dog poo in the garden, one corner was particularly bad & I called dog poo corner. Plates, bowls & mugs are all tiny!

A lovely stay in Mid Wales

We had a lovely stay for birthday/anniversary. The only issues we had were that a blind was broken and there were 3 lots of dog mess in the garden area. We contacted the owner who apologised and said she would deal with this. The following evening the dog mess was still there and we had to source a poo bags and pick this up ourselves and The blind remained broken.

Peace and quiet with a Mountain View

Easy to check in upon arrival, pod was lovely with everything you need. Only downside was the hot tub didn’t work properly. Reported upon arrival, someone came and reset. Was told to report again if not working after 30 minutes. Did so but no further action made and was told different things. Communication wasn’t great. Would return but expect everything to be working properly given the amount paid.

Easter Dog Friendly Break

We had a really enjoyable 3 night stay in Mountain View Pod, perfect for us as 2 adults with 2 dogs (one large, one small). The pod has everything you need for a short break. Fully kitted out kitchen including tea, coffee and milk. Bed & sofa were both very comfortable. Bathroom was clean and the shower was really powerful which was welcomed after long walks. Absolutely huge garden with amazing views and of course, a spacious hot tub. Just two minor comments from us re the garden; our sausage dog could escape under the gates. We found a large, heavy plank of wood behind the pod which we dragged across to block the gap. Not a major issue but we had to do this each time we wanted to go out in the car. Second slight annoyance was that the previous guests didn’t clean up after their dog. I felt compelled to clean this up as I didn’t want this to reflect badly on us, as respectful guests. The area was ideal for us. We wanted a break away in the middle of no where away from our usual, very hectic lives and this was just perfect. The local town was a 2 minute drive away which has everything you need but I wouldn’t fancy walking to it as (I think) the only way is to walk on the roadside down a fast, dark country road. Also great location if you’re wanting to find different places to walk, like us. Lots of to choose from. Our second time staying with Holiday Wales and it definitely won’t be our last. Highly recommend.
