Resting in the centre of Barnoldswick, an old market town on the Lancashire/Yorkshire border. Hideaway Cottage is a cute cosy cottage built in the early 18th century. It has been beautifully renovated and tastefully decorated into a contemporary holiday cottage, which exudes comfort and a cosy cottage feel. The Cottage is situated in one of the oldest parts of Barnoldswick, in very close proximity to local shops, restaurants, bars and pubs. It is well located for those who like a wide range of amenities right on their doorstep.
The cottage comprises of an open plan living, kitchen and dining area.
A fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, full sized fan oven, ceramic hob, microwave, kettle and toaster.
The dining / lounge area comprises of a comfy sofa, a HD smart t.v, games, reading books and puzzle books to entertain you, along with maps/leaflets and information on the local area.
There is a narrow staircase (people with mobility issues may find a little tricky) which leads to a beautifully presented double bedroom with a comfy double bed and blackout blinds, ready for the perfect nights sleep.
Next to the bedroom is the bathroom, which has a shower cubicle with a rainfall shower, a wash basin and toilet.

Please note with the cottage being over 200 years old it does have some low ceilings in a couple of areas in the cottage (approx 186cm high), a low door frame leading to the bedroom and a narrow staircase (approx 45cm wide).
The cottage has super fast full fibre wifi (download speed 150 mbps) throughout the cottage.
All bed linen and towels are provided.
Sorry we ask that no pets are allowed in the cottage and no smoking.
There is roadside parking less than a minutes walk from the cottage. You are able to unload outside the cottage, but we ask that you park on the main road as the cobbled street is a through road for use by the occasional car.
The cottage is situated right on the Lancashire/Yorkshire boarder in close proximity to the Yorkshire Dales, Brontë Country, Ribble Valley and the Leeds-Liverpool canal. You will never be short of things to do!
If you love walking there are a huge range of walks on our doorstep, one of our guests favourites is Weets Hill, always worth the climb for the panoramic views at the top! A short drive from the cottage is the very well known Malham Cove, Wycoller, Bolton Abbey, Skipton Woods, Pendle Hill and the Yorkshire 3 Peaks if you fancy more of an exhilarating challenge!
