Come and experience Villa Encanto, a beautiful luxury property located in a gated community at Playas del Coco. This villa is steps away from Nicoya Peninsula and looking at the Pacific Ocean. Unwind yourself at the infinity pool or sip a drink on the deck or patio with your family and friends. The pool deck has a full outdoor kitchen and swim up bar. Our indoor dining-kitchen area has a wine bar, and it offers a spacious kitchen where you can prepare your meals or hire a chef to relax and enjoy the stunning views this house has to offer. Local meal delivered service or personal chef are some of the extra features of this property. Enjoy this 4-bedroom, 6 -bathroom that has lots of great family entertainment to enjoy each other’s company like ping pong table, billiard pool table, fire pit area fast WIFI internet and SONOS surround system. Each bedroom has a balcony where you can enjoy your morning coffee with a stunning view of the ocean as well each room comes with a separate air conditioner unit, safe deposit box, Smart TV and private bathroom with closet. With all the hustle of traveling you can always go a bit lighter on your packing since we have a washer and dryer on site. The Club house of Coco Bay Estates offers on site restaurants, professional tennis courts, fully equipped gym, enormous pool with waterfall. Myself and my group enjoyed immensely our stay at Villa Encanto! The property was amazing and beautiful! We enjoyed our lazy days at the house around and in the amazing pool enjoying our view and the howler monkeys that reside in the trees below. Alex was awesome! Extremely responsive when sent messages and questions. We are very excited to return sometime soon!! Highly recommend Villa Encanto!!

Our family enjoyed the privilege of staying at this gorgeous villa for 2 weeks. The views are spectacular, the house is super clean, private and very safe. We all loved the experience of hanging out in the ‘nature channel’ with the opportunity to be visited by beautiful birds, hearing the howler monkeys call to each other across the valley, and watching them play in the treetops. The proximity to many beautiful beaches, and a vibrant town added to this amazing experience. Alex, the house manager made our entire experience infinitely superior with great advice, expertly curated adventures and answering any questions immediately. If you’re fortunate enough to have Johnny drive you to your adventures, you will have an educational and extremely fun time. He is knowledgeable about the flora and fauna, the animals, the culture and anything else you need to know and he enhanced each adventure greatly. Alex, his wife Gabi who cooked us delicious meals, and their children are the best people you could have to ensure an unforgettable vacation. Pura Vida!

Great Trip

This was a great place to stay. Four couples came and it was the perfect layout for all. The hosts were very attentive and helpful anytime we needed anything. They even arranged a cook for us. I would absolutely recommend a stay at Villa Encanto.

Wow! What a great stay! Was in Villa Encanto for five weeks. The house was well equipped and clean. Housekeeping crew came in every Saturday and cleaned everything! They were there for five hours each time. Alex was always available if we had a question or an issue. His wife, Gaby, ran the cleaning crews and was available as a private chef. We utilized her and Emily seven times over the five weeks. These ladies can cook! Having access to the club is a nice bonus. The pool is very nice, along with the workout facilities. Our group also made use of the Pickleball courts and open play schedule. Met many nice people on the courts. About the only negative we would say is that the pool was very cold. At this time of the year, the pool only is in the sun until just past 11am. But we got used to it and was at the club pool many days. Overall, this was an outstanding place to stay under excellent management and housekeeping, and both the kitchen and house were very nicely equipped.

We had a lovely stay at Villa Encanto. It was well equipped, had a spectacular view and Alex was very attentive and helpful with any concerns we had or raised. We had 2 families of 4 and it felt very spacious and comfortable. The pool table was a great bonus to have when not out enjoying the pool and view outdoors. On property or near within visibility of the property there were monkey, birds, iguanas and an assortment bugs to boot which were both fun and took a bit of getting used to for some of us but part of the experience in Costa Rica for sure. The clubhouse access was a nice perk to the property and the kids and adults enjoyed the slide and large pool available there. The Wi-Fi was not strong enough to reach the rooms outside of the main house but we were fine with being offline at times during our vacation, but maybe helpful for others to know when booking.

Wow! Just Wow!

Thank you to our gracious hosts Alex and Gerry. Communication could not have been smoother and attentiveness to any needs we may have had was super quick. The property is magnificent and our group surely misses our morning routine of coffee overlooking the town and Coco Bay. All the amenities you could ask for are in the house and the rooms and bathrooms were very warm and inviting. I would highly recommend this house overlooking Coco Bay and so close to Playa Hermosa, Ocotol and Playa Flamingo. Book. You will not be sorry.

Superb villa

We are a three generation family of 8 people ranging in age from 16 - 84. We stayed in the villa over New Years 2023-24. This villa is wonderfully located, well equipped, extremely comfortable, and spacious with lots of indoor and outdoor space for relaxing. Coco Estates has a lovely communal pool with tennis/pickleball and a restaurant. We enjoyed the facilities as well as the villa every day and and only left the complex to visit Tamarindo and the Coco Beach town briefly. Alex, the house manager, was available for reservations (restaurant, tours) and also was very responsive when we called him about a glitch in the vila. He made our visit more enjoyable because of his accessibility. The only problem we had was a hot water problem during our stay which needs to be addressed. Overall, i would highly recommend this villa with no reservation for a perfect family vacation.

A dream vacation with the family

Together with my wife, 2 sons and girlfriends, we stayed 7 nights at Villa Encanto from January 20 to 27, 2024. The Villa is beautiful. Very well located with magnificent views of Playa del Coco, the ocean and the mountains surrounding the area. The villa is very spacious with large common areas (kitchen, living room), 4 comfortable bedrooms each equipped with a spacious bathroom. The 4th bedroom is in a separate building with lots of space. The sound system (Sonos) is great and plays inside and outside. The pool is small but the water is fresh which is great given the outdoor temperature. Access to the Club is a big plus with a large pool, 2 tennis / pickleball courts and a restaurant. Since the villa is located at the top of a hill, the wind was quite strong all week. It seems the wind is very strong in January. Overall, we really appreciated our stay at the Villa and the quick responses from Gerry and Alex when we needed them.

All Was Excellent!

The house and view are beautiful! In fact, some days we just really enjoyed throwing something on the outdoor pit, hanging in the pool and soaking up the view! The house is well stocked and the spaces are perfect. We had lots of room to spread out with 4 couples.Alex the house manager is excellent at his job. He made our trip so much better! He responded to all of my messages quickly. He arranged vans for transportation; spa treatments at the house; entry into the private neighborhood clubs and he even helped with birthday decorations. We did not take advantage of meal prep, grocery services or mid week cleaning but Alex definitely would have helped us with these things.We really enjoyed everything - thank you Alex!Some tips: - Have the house address and your return flight information ready when you land.We used Alex's van service to and from the airport and for a day trip down to Playa Flamingo.The van drivers - Jose, Diego and Johnny were the best. We gave our driver a few extra dollars and he took us to Auto Mercado - grocery store to get supplies on the way in. We used 2 Ubers (8 of us) when we wanted to move around locally.You can schedule pickleball courts at the Club at Coco Bay Estates. They have changing rooms a pool bar and food service. It was small but quiet and peaceful when we were there.Check out Father Rooster's - very good pub foodHope you have an amazing time like we did! Pura Vida!

An Oasis

From the breathtaking views of Coco Beach to the glistening infinity pool and everything in between, Villa Encanto is an oasis. The bedroom arrangement makes this house perfect for two families; with a king master and double suite upstairs and a king master and double suite located on the ground level. Everyone has their own space! The kitchen is stocked with the essentials and boasts a gigantic table for meals or family game night. The outside kitchen is handy for grilling up your favorite meals and snacks to be enjoyed on the patio or even at the pool swim up. The house includes many activities including a pool table, ping-pong table and tennis rackets to be used at the club. We enjoyed the club; utilizing the pool, courts and the restaurant. Wildlife did make an appearance during our stay including a group of howler monkeys in the trees just off the balcony for about 3 days, as well as iguanas, a fox, a giant grasshopper thing, and a flock of parakeets. Gerry and Alex are the best hosts!! They arranged multiple details of our trip including in house spa services, rental car services, and airport transportation. The answered all our questions extremely quickly and provided many suggestions to make our stay even better! A few MINOR things to note: the ability to climb stairs is a must in this house as it is three levels. The wi-fi in the lower bedrooms is spotty. Golf carts are not permitted to come all the way to the house due to the incline of the road to get there.
