All houses are independent and fully equipped. They are built according to the traditional Cretan architecture. On the outside there are beautiful stone work frames the dark green doorways and windows, further accentuated by the pastel strawberry and lemon walls. Add to this lovely tiled roofs and backdrop of the blue sky and mountains and then you begin to understand why we are so smitten.

Inside the houses the decoration is remarkable, with beautifully tiled floors, ceilings supported by huge beams interlaced with traditional bamboo linings and pale ochre colored walls set off by elegant concealed lighting.

Each house has two floors and a private veranda with panoramic view of the mountain and the sea. Guests can choose among the houses with one or two sitting areas, according to their needs. All houses are equipped with fully equipped kitchen (with kitchen appliances and utensils), bathroom with bathtub, WC with shower and one or two bedrooms with king size beds.

The houses combine harmoniously the traditional style with modern decorative elements, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. For your convenience, all houses have A/C, fireplace and plasma TV. Every house can accommodate 2 to 6 persons.

Each complex has two shared swimming pools, one for adults and one for children and an autonomous parking space.

LOCATION

Georgioupolis is a popular vacation resort with a great long beach (it goes for several Km) and an idyllic harbor with little fishing boats at the north coast of the island, between the cities of Chania and Rethymnon (35 km from Chania, 25 km from Rethimnon). A fishing village up to 1990 or so, it was discovered and has been transformed into a popular holiday destination over the past 15 years, without losing its original charm and tranquility. Old eucalyptus trees and a small river that flows into the sea, create a distinctive and unique ambiance (it is a wildlife refuge). As for the location it is a great choice as a starting point for excursions into western Crete. At a distance of about 5 Km from Georgioupoli lies the Kournas sweet water lake that worth's a visit. KASTELLOS VILLAGE is built in a privileged location. During your stay here you can make a tour around the area and enjoy nature.

It is worth visiting the famous Kourna lake, which is only 5 km from the village. You can also visit the area of Argiroupolis, known for the running and spring waters. You will have a meal under the plane trees and visit the small church of Saint Prokopios, which is built in a cave.

The popular beach of Georgioupolis (5 km from the complex) is a pole of attraction for the visitors of the area.

There are many restaurants and taverns in the village, where you can enjoy the famous recipes of the traditional Cretan cuisine.

-Anthoula house (135sqm) has 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom and can take up to 8 people (2 sofa beds)

-Sofia house (75sqm)has 1 double bedroom and can take up to 3 persons(1 Sofa Bed)

The main village that you can find everything you might need is ‘’Kavros’’ village and has from supermarkets to butchery shops and from bakeries to restaurants and souvenir shops. Also the beach is just 4,5km away. The other main town is Gerogioupolis which is 7 klm away and then Rethymnon which is 25 klm away. Ms Marias taverna just 400m away from the houses which offers exceptional Cretan food. They can also deliver the food to the houses for you every day if you wish.
