The Bank House

A beautiful one-bedroom apartment situated in the historic town of Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire. A perfect retreat for two, the split-level apartment comprises a contemporary styled lounge, with dining table to seat up to four. Smart TV and Wi-Fi are included during your stay, creating a peaceful retreat for the end of any long day. You’ll find a bright and stylish space throughout with modern fixtures and fittings with personal touches added through the ornaments and wall décor. The upper-level elegant kitchen includes all desired comforts including dishwasher, oven, hob fridge, freezer, and microwave.

The apartment boasts a spacious, comfortable king size bedroom with flat screen TV, and separate bathroom with large shower, wash basin and WC.

Boroughbridge has a thriving High Street with inviting cafes, shops, pubs and restaurants. With architecture and an air that sets it apart from the rest of the district, this town is a treat to explore and discover. The pretty cobbled Hall Square was once the home of fishermen; today you will find the Butter Market Museum, an eclectic display of local artefacts, showing the history of the town’s people. There are also plenty of peaceful walking routes to enjoy and thanks to the local routes being relatively flat, there is something for everyone.

On-site parking is available for one vehicle to the rear of The Bank House. You will also find pay & display car parks in Boroughbridge.

Ideally placed for spending Chrustmas with family who now live in Borougjbridge

Location perfect. Facilities in house outstanding. Cleanliness first class Stairs...external and internal, especially carrying breakfast downstairs from kitchen to dining area. Not ideal for older folks...we are both 79, although still relatively mobile.

Lovely apartment with everything you need considering it's size.

Spotlessly clean and everything in good working order. Location is great with good pubs and cafes in the town, as well as a corner shop and pharmacy in walking distancea short drive to the supermarket. Easy to explore further afield if you want to head into the moors, take a trip to Yorkhead out to the coast. Would recommend a car - property has designated parking.

The flat was very clean . Bed was comfortable and clean. Cleanliness is a big thing for me and this did not disappoint. Area was quiet. Even with a pub across the road , lovely cafe around the corner in all a pleasant stay. If you have mobility issues then it could be a issue as flat is on first floor plus there are steps to enter the building . I would stay here again.

Great location - lovely little apartment very central in a lovely little town, but still quiet & peaceful. Parking spaces are quite narrow. We only have a smallish car, and other cars were in their spaces either side, but still a bit of a squeeze getting in & out of the car.

We had a lovely stay at the Bank House!

The bank house was great! Luxurious, comfortable, everything we needed was there, cooker, toaster, oven, dishwasher, fridge, kettle, even a washing machine. Very comfortable bed and excellent shower. No noise from the other apartmentsthe street at all. The location is perfect. The town is lovely, has all the amenities and it serves as a great base for day trips. Nothing, it was perfect.

Superb accommodation

Positive review Simply superb apartment, tastefully decorated, extremely well laid-out, quiet and also sparkling clean. Parking is secure and convenient. Lots of touches to make you feel at home, including fluffy towels, comfy pillows, throws and thoughtful amenities such as coffee, tea, milk and toiletries are provided. Boroughbridge is conveniently situated for visiting many local attractions and is a charming town with some nice shops and restaurants. We would return in a heartbeat!
