Great Views, Great Location, modern & cozy Apartment (renovated 2022)

Set in the world famous Bernese Oberland, Grindelwald is the base for some of Europe's best walking trails and has become something of a hiking Mecca over the years. During the winter months with over 260 kms of slopes in the Jungfrau region you are spoilt for choice.
The chalet is perfectly located in a very quiet private road just a 5-7 minutes walk from the railway station (Grindelwald Dorf) and the village center and the gondolas.

The apartment Shreckhorn with 86 m2 living area for (4-5 people) and 3.5 rooms (2 bedrooms) is located on the first floor. It's spacious and has a large south facing balcony
with uninterrupted views of the Eiger North Face and the surrounding mountain world.

With modern furniture, fully equipped kitchen, internet (WiFi), SAT TV and a covered parking space in front of the chalet.

Included in the rate: cleaning at the end of your stay, linen, towels, kitchen towels, Internet, carport and side costs (heating, power, water). The only additional costs are the local tourist taxes.

This place has an amazing view from the deck. Spacious room, super clean and it has everything equipped in the kitchen. Great location, 7 mins walk from the place to grindelwald station. Can also take the 123 bus to terminal or first cable car. Will come back the next time visiting Grindelwald. Small tip: bring your shampoo and body wash as it is not provided. Other than that you it has everything you need for a pleasant stay.

Overall good but a few were an issue. A curved staircase up two levels with suitcases was not ideal. Also a fair walk uphill to the town. Very well equipped and plenty of room. Fantastic view of the snow capped mountains from the balcony.

Thank you for your feedback and for choosing our apartment for your holiday destination. Unfortunately, you had some bad luck with the weather. Grindelwald is located in the mountains, so it‘s not flat everywhere. There is no elevator in the Chalet Jasmine that’s true, but our apartment is located only on the 2nd floor (not on the top, 4th floor). We hope you were still able to enjoy your holiday somewhat and wish you all the best.

The apartment in Grindelwald at the Jasmine Apartments was just right for our family. The location is easily accessible to the centre of Grindelwald yet still feels tucked away and private with amazing views. The apartment is clean and updated with all the amenities. Great accommodation in a great location.

We spent 6 nights here. Home cooked meals eaten on the patio with amazing views. Walking distance to restaurants, transit, grocery store. Such a great time.

This is a spacious comfortable apartment with an incredible view, very conveniently located just a short walk from the train station and the main center of Grindelwald. Beds are comfortable and full kitchen.

Beautiful chalet

An ideal setting and base camp for exploration. Convenient to Grindelwald train station and a short (uphill) walk to downtown. Nestled in the mountains — every day we were struck by the views — with and without fog. The apartment had everything we needed. Laundry access was a bonus!

Great view, very clean

Property was very clean and had gorgeous Mountain views. The walk into town was short and the downtown had plenty of shops and restaurants. We enjoyed Grindelwald First, hiking, and Jungfraujoch.

Grindelwald

We stayed here as our base for hiking in the area. The home is very comfortable with everything you need to cook. Walking distance to lifts, trains, grocery store and town services/restaurants. Amazing view from balcony. When some showers broke out the mountainside filled with many waterfalls.

Our home for 5 days - Grindelwald

Staying at Christine’s property was one of the many memories I’ll cherish for a very long time. The chalet was our home for 5 days. With the jaw dropping view and spacious comfortable apartment it was the right choice for our vacation.

Ski holiday in Grindelwald

We had a fantastic time in Grindelwald staying at Apartment Schreckhorn. The apartment is in a great location and it is easy to access ski lifts and the centre of Grindelwald. The unit is well equipped and comfortable. Check in and check out were seamless. The views are fantastic from the balcony and add to th experience.

We are living in the northern part of Switzerland. Before we bought this apartment we often spent our winter holidays in Grindelwald. We love very much skiing and sledding. Also hiking in summer is marvelous. You are close to a lot of attractions in and around Grindelwald in Berner Oberland. Also close to Interlaken with 2 lakes.
When we got the opportunity to buy this wonderful apartment 'Schreckhorn' in the Chalet JASMINE we didn't hesitate.

We are the owners since July 2013

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Very wide and sunny balcony overlooking the ski area 'Kleine Scheidegg & Männlichen' and an incredible view to the Eiger North Face. The apartment is very bright (window front) and spacious.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Very good location. Close to the ski bus stop (100 m) to all skiing and hiking areas: Firstbahn, Terminal with gondolas to Männlichen and Eiger Express (Top of Europe) or Grund railway station for the train to Kleine Scheidegg.
5-7 minutes walk to the railway station or the center of Grindelwald for shopping, dining or relaxing in one of the beautiful Restaurants and Bars.
