Well equipped apartment in a prime location in Ambleside, opposite Ambleside Pier with easy walking access into the town centre.. (Apartments on Ground Floor Or First Floor).

Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds
Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair available on request. . Patio/balcony with furniture. Sauna (shared with other properties on-site. Swimming pool (shared with other properties on-site, 4m x 3m, depth 1m - 1m) with shower facilities. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. Set in a prime location at Waterhead, opposite Ambleside Pier, these 2-bedroom apartments are perfect for a central stay in The Lake District. The apartments have on-site leisure facilities including a pool, sauna, and whirlpool. Quaysiders is made up of 18 fully equipped and well-appointed apartments, these popular apartments are either on the ground or first floor and your apartment will be allocated on arrival.
Inside they are beautifully decorated and apart from slightly different layouts, identical in terms of facilities and comfort. Ground floor apartments have a small patio and the first floor apartments a small balcony, both with patio furniture, ideal for a glass of wine or a morning coffee in the fresh air. Thereâs a real community feel about Quaysiders and they are all situated around a pretty courtyard with shrubs and planters. Each apartment includes open plan living room and dining table with TV and DVD player. Although sleeping up to four adults, thereâs a double sofa bed for additional flexibility. The kitchen is well-equipped with oven and hob, fridge with ice box and dishwasher. A double bedroom with TV and a twin bedroom, and the bathroom is modern with a shower over the bath.
Quaysiders apartments are perfect for couples and families looking for high quality accommodation in a central location. They are ideal for exploring the local towns of Grasmere and Windermere as well as a great starting point for many of the iconic fells and walking routes in the South Lakes. Straight from the door you can walk to Stockghyll Falls and Wansfell, or a short drive brings you to Great Langdale and Little Langdale, some of the most popular starting points for serious fell walkers. You couldnât be closer to the action as just across the road you can board the Windermere steamers to Bowness-on-Windermere and Lakeside at the Southern end of Lake Windermere where you can pick up the Lakeside to Haverthwaite Steam Railway.
Ambleside has an abundance of fantastic eateries including many gastro pubs and fine dining options. Youâll find a good number of independent cafĂ©s, delis, and bars. You will find a good range of shops from popular high street names and an array of outdoor suppliers. Hayes Garden World is just a few minutesâ walk and the main town centre of Ambleside is just a 10-minute walk, although there is a cluster of bars, shops and restaurants at Waterhead.
