We had a wonderful weekend stay in London at your place! Great location and super cute! The beds were so comfortable too! We would definitely stay here again!!
This flat is in a great location with easy access to different tube stations, easy walking distance to many major attractions; great neighborhood restaurants and nearby market . Easy to book check in and communicate with the host.
This apartment was perfect for our stay in London. It's location was central to all the major sites either by walking or by Tube. There was much to see and places to eat very close by. An added bonus was the garden area. It was perfect for sitting and relaxing at the end of the day.
This place is just perfect if you are looking for a central location in london! We stayed with our two teen daughters and it was perfect for the 4 of us. Tesco up the road, easy tube access. Super clean ! Comfy beds! We will be back for sure!!!
The property was perfect for our purposes. About 1.5 miles from the city center, but all walkable. Restaurants and pubs were close to the flat, as well as a grocery store at the end of the street. Great Portland Street underground was less than a 10-minute walk away which made EVERYTHING in London easy to get to. We would stay here again!
Great little flat in a quaint neighborhood. Owner was extremely helpful and communicated in a timely manner. It was perfect for our week stay in London. Lots of coffee shops, pubs and restaurants in the area. Short walk to the tubes and not far from Piccadilly. Loved it!!!
Dan is highly responsive and accommodating. Would not recommend more than 3 people staying here - we are 3 petite ladies with only one carryon and personal item each, and found it quite cramped. Futon was too uncomfortable for my 15 yr old. Location was excellent but there were a few noisy nights - you can hear the neighbors and random helicopter (no idea what that was about) hovering every other night.
My adult daughter and I stayed here for a week for a dad/daughter trip. It was so perfect for two. Daughter slept on sofa bed which was actually really comfortable! I slept in bedroom. Bed was great! Place is just perfect! If youâre looking for a fancy hotel room, look elsewhere. If youâre looking for an authentic stay in London, this is the place. We walked everywhere! Great restaurants right around the corner. Awesome backyard space. Daniel was so responsive and accommodating. Everything was great. Would highly recommend. Loved this place!!
This was a great location. That was the only good thing. It was a basement unit that smelled of mold, and was very damp. We were not informed it was below grade. Issues with plumbing/water pressure. Supposed to sleep 5. No way could even 4 people fit in this unit. Very tight with awkward doors, furniture that didnât fit. Literally crawling over each bother to get to bathroom, kitchen sink etc. the mold was the biggest issues.
The ability to walk to parks, grocery store, restaurants and metro stations made it an ideal choice to explore London. The place is definitely "cozy" for the four of us. Wouldn't recommend having a fifth person as the futon was uncomfortable to sleep on, not to mention the small/tight space we Americans are not used to.
My two other friends and I stayed for four nights at the flat and we had a great time. The space was perfect for us three but it would have been also big enough for five people. The accommodation is beautifully furnished (with games, tv, pictures books), so we actually felt really welcoming and home. It was also really clean, the bed was super comfortable and the terrace was our highlight. Besides the location is ideal to go everywhere in London, we felt safe and public transport is good to reach. The communication for the check in was also great so the check in was super easy. The cleaning lady who was really welcoming, kind and friendly answered all our questions really quick. That was great. Thank you! I can definitely recommend this place and we would always come back when visiting London! :)
We stayed at this cute little basement flat for three nights, and it was the perfect central home base for our family of four to explore everything we wanted to see in central London. The street is quiet, there are many amazing coffee shops and pubs nearby, and it's a quick walk through Fitzrovia to Oxford Circus and the tube. Well-stocked and clean, we would stay here again in a heartbeat.
I'm a musician by trade - therefore artsy, driven and occasionally neurotic! Love all the travelling and meeting new people that my job affords but it's great to get back to London once in a while - such a great city!
Fitzrovia has been voted the best place in London to live many times. It's a great district- full of independent coffee shops, bars and restaurants but still a very residential area with a real community feel. So close to all the main tourist sites and famous shopping streets of London- all within walking distance. Soho, Oxford Street and Regent's Park are all within 5 minutes walk of the apartment. There is a supermarket at the end of the road- open 6am until 11pm. Fitzrovia has a very interesting history and many famous artists, musicians and writers lived in the area. So much to discover here!
I really hope that you enjoy your stay â itâs such a great area of London so please explore it! My favourite places to go locally include: The Riding House Cafe on Great Titchfield Street â great for lunch and dinner. Kaffeine cafe on Great Titchfield Street â best coffee in town! The Crown and Sceptre Pub on the corner of Foley Street and Great Titchfield Street. Sergio's Italian Restaurant also on the corner of Foley Street and Great Titchfield Street.
