Cozy apartment in Chiado, located on the first floor without an elevator, this charming space features a living room and open-plan kitchen, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Ideal for couples or small families, the apartment offers 2 well-equipped bedrooms with 2 bathrooms. Situated in the vibrant Chiado neighborhood, you will be just steps away from Lisbon's main attractions, such as Praça do Comércio, the Santa Justa Elevator, and the famous Bica tram.



The Space:

Cozy apartment in the heart of Chiado, with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms located on the first floor without an elevator, the bedroom windows are at street level. We have air conditioning in both bedrooms and the living room. The fully equipped kitchen is ideal for preparing your meals with ease, featuring all the necessary utensils and appliances.



We have a laundry room with a washing machine, dryer, and iron; this space is shared only with guests from the adjacent apartment.



One of the bathrooms is private, attached to the double bedroom, while the other is located in the common areas.

Guest Access:

Our guests will have access to the apartment; only the laundry room is shared with another group. We may limit access to all bedrooms in the case of bookings of fewer than 2 people for logistical reasons and cleaning and maintenance costs based on the needs of our guests.

Bairro Alto is one of Lisbon’s most iconic and vibrant neighborhoods, known for its narrow streets, traditional cobblestones, and historic charm. By day, it’s perfect for discovering artisan shops, unique bookstores, and cozy cafés where you can enjoy a traditional Portuguese pastry or coffee. The area offers some of the city’s most famous viewpoints, such as Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara, with panoramic views of São Jorge Castle and the historic center, and Miradouro de Santa Catarina, ideal for watching the sunset over the Tagus River.

At night, the neighborhood comes alive with a variety of bars, traditional and modern restaurants, live music, and a lively atmosphere that attracts both locals and visitors. Just a short walk away, you’ll find Rua Cor-de-Rosa, known for its restaurants and vibrant nightlife, and Cais do Sodré, with markets and a cosmopolitan nightlife. Staying in Bairro Alto means being in the heart of Lisbon’s historic and cultural life, with everything the city has to offer within reach.


Getting Around:

Bairro Alto is perfectly located for exploring Lisbon with ease, offering a wide range of public and private transportation options. The area is served by several bus lines, connecting the neighborhood to different parts of the city, including central and tourist areas. For a typical Lisbon experience, you can take the famous tram 28, which winds through historic streets and offers a unique journey.



For faster travel, the Baixa-Chiado metro station is about a 10-minute walk away, providing easy access to the entire city. Those wishing to travel by train can use Cais do Sodré, with connections to Cascais and the beaches, or Rossio station for inland destinations. Cais do Sodré also offers river transport, perfect for exploring the Tagus River and destinations such as Cacilhas.



For added convenience, taxis, Uber, and private transport services are readily available, as well as electric scooters and bikes for quick trips around the neighborhood. This makes Bairro Alto a central and practical location, perfect for exploring Lisbon on foot or within minutes by transport.



Other Things to Note:

To ensure the comfort and safety of all guests and neighbors, our apartment has a strict no-party policy. Parties, loud gatherings, or any activities that may disturb the peace of the area are not allowed.

If this rule is violated, we reserve the right to terminate the stay immediately and ask guests to leave without any refund. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in maintaining a pleasant environment for everyone.

To avoid disturbing the neighbors, we ask that you do not use the laundry facilities at night.

To stay in our apartment, it is mandatory for all guests to complete a form with their passport details. This is a legal requirement in Portugal for the Immigration and Borders Service (SEF), which regulates the registration of guests in the country.

We kindly ask that you complete the form before your arrival to ensure a smooth check-in process in compliance with local regulations.

To ensure the proper functioning of the equipment, everyone’s comfort, and responsible energy use, we kindly ask that the air conditioning be set between 19°C and 23°C, avoiding extremely high or extremely low temperatures, as this may damage the appliances and the electrical system. We also appreciate that the air conditioning is used in moderation and turned off whenever the apartment is unoccupied.
