Little Apple is a charming Grade II listed property which has been fully renovated in 2022. The house has been beautifully decorated throughout and now boasts a luxury feel with all of the mod cons and home comforts that you would want. With a large covered hot tub in the enclosed rear garden, the roaring wood burner in the living room and Smart TVs in all the rooms, you may struggle to leave âLittle Appleâ once youâre here. On the ground floor there is a living room with a wood burner and large Smart TV, a separate dining room with a good-sized dining table, relaxing views of the trees above the River Eden and a Smart TV. The well-equipped kitchen has an electric hob and electric fan oven, dishwasher and family-sized fridge/freezer plus a utility room offering a washing machine, a place to hand wash clothes and a downstairs toilet.
There are three great sized bedrooms, two of which are on the first floor, one with a kingsize bed and en-suite walk-in shower, the second with zip-and-link twin beds which can be super kingsize on request, and an en-suite bathroom with shower over bath. The third bedroom is accessed from the second bedroom up to the top floor where you will find the unique, large master bedroom with a kingsize bed and stunning exposed beams. The beautiful original wooden floors have been lovingly restored on the first and second floors to add to the warmth and charm of the property.
The property seeps history: it was once one of the school houses of Appleby Grammar School. The elder brothers of George Washington (the 1st President of the USA) attended the school, and the Latin inscriptions from the propertyâs school days are present in the stone wall to the front of âLittle Appleâ. There is an enclosed rear garden with a large covered Hot Tub, lawned and hard standing area.
Little Apple is located in the heart of Appleby and is just 100 metres away from the array of independent local shops, pubs and restaurants making Appleby such a lovely place to stay. This ancient market town and historic county town of Westmorland is located in the picturesque Eden Valley with quick and easy access to the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, as well as the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District National Parks. Thereâs great walking and lovely countryside accessible from the doorstep, with plenty of scope for the more adventures nearby.
