The kitchen/dining room is well appointed with all the appliances you need for a proper ‘home from home’ experience and ample space to sit around the table and talk about the day’s adventures. The local area is popular with walkers and cyclists alike. The beach is a 2 minutes’ walk, or you may prefer a stroll along the Lancaster canal which is less than 50 yards from the doorstep. The local area offers a great choice of activities to enjoy with the beautiful town of Lancaster around 5 minutes’ drive away. Take a step back in time visiting the wonderful Lancaster Castle or Maritime Museum, or maybe a sedate canal cruise. The shopping is great, and you can finish the day off with a visit to the cinema or bowling. Also nearby is Carnforth the Home of West Coast railways which offers trips using classic and modern diesels and historic steam locomotives, also close by there are wildlife parks, stately homes and gardens or for something different, try watching the mayhem of stock car racing!
