We had such a relaxing vacation in Cayucos. This home is so convenient to go into town, walk on the beach, or head out wine tasting. The deck is stunning with sweeping views, and it was the perfect place for a morning cup of coffee and an evening drink.
It was wonderful to be right on the ocean with a million dollar view! Our daughter, son in law and two young grandchildren stayed with us for a week and it was comfortable and spacious for us all.
We had everything we needed. I was not used to the dampness being so close to the ocean in October but all part of being right on the ocean. The view was spectaculr.
Please wash the big windows that look out on the ocean; that view was the joy of staying there..Please put better lighting in the bedroom closest to the living room (with the accordion doorways). Bad lighting.
We had an amazing stay at this gorgeous waterfront house. Loved the porch where we looked out for hours and watched the Ocean. Everything was very comfortable in the kitchen as well equipped.
We very much enjoyed our stay. It is the second stay at this lovely oceanfront Cayucos home. Easy 40 min drive to all of the Paso wineries. Cute restaurants and coffee shops all just a short walk away. We will return again soon!
Nice quiet place on the beach. Clean. Easy to get around town from this location. Comfortable. The washer & dryer on site came in handy. I recommend this home to everyone!
The views from this property cannot be beat! Sitting out on the balcony, we watched whales, dolphins, seals and a sea otter. The home was clean, well furnished and homey. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a meal. As we were in the downstairs unit, we did occasionally here movement upstairs, but this was never a problem for us. We loved our time here and will definitely stay here again!
Loved the view but the kitchen is lacking in many areas, the windows were dirty and you could hear everything from the unit upstairs. With that said the VACASA staff were great and responsive!
The view and proximity to the ocean is unreal, and nestled in the heart of Cayucos - restaurants and shops a just a few blocks away! The place is showing its age (very clean, just older) and staying in the bottom unit, you can really hear the upstairs neighbors. However, if youâre looking for a chill place with few frills, this is your stay. I was impressed with the customer service, the kitchen lights were out when we arrived and the property manager brought by an extension cord for us to plug lamps into and cookies to apologize for the inconvenience. I would definitely stay here again!
Beautiful views and nice location close to town. However, the place is small, there is no private stairs to the beach, the property is located on a narrow spot on the beach and because of the high tide there was no beach. The couch and chairs are the most uncomfortable Iâve ever sat in. We love Cayucos and the views but because of the items mentioned above this place is way overpriced.
It was wonderful to be right on the beach- windy days but we could watch the water etc. room enough for us to be inside when it was colder!! The house has been updated.. furniture is a little worn.. Bring your own blankets for outside on the loungers etc- no extra throw blankets AND there is only salt and pepper in the house! No big deal but i would have been a little more prepared since we cooked all meals in! BBQ worked great! i grew up going to Cayucos, brought my kids here for their growing up years and this is now it's my grandson's place to spend a special holiday with us! we all loved it. Thank you
The view, the waves, and the wi-fi might keep me coming, but if it were anywhere else, I would have to say I would go elsewhere. My concerns may sound petty, but for the money I guess I think I should be entitled. 1) a box of kleenex anywhere would have been nice. 2) signage to unit A is non existent, sending me to a third unit of this triplex home, forcing me to call and making myself sound like an a**. The front door is literally the window/wall facing the shore. 3) the front room sofas are very uncomfortable, as is one of the twin beds in the back. 4) we had a circuit go out and help was not available for over 12 hours. 5) The TV is very small with VERY limited cable (Come on...not even ESPN?) and located with the back of the unit to the window causing horrible viewing conditions. Now I know this is a vacation home and we should not be fussy over such things, but even the motel down the street has better television viewing. (Hint: install the TV above the fireplace.)
We probably won't be returning.
Over all the most inconvenient thing was the limited supply of paper towels, toilet paper and trash bags.
The furniture was not comfortable, especially the furniture in the living room. The neighbors upstairs were constantly up and making a lot of noise during the night. They kept waking us up.
We loved the view and enjoy the close proximity to the pier and the local shops.
Our family had a most wonderful time at this Cayucos home! Everything was just perfect and exactly as described. Vacasa always takes great care of us!!
The porch view is lovely and the location makes you feel you have the ocean all to yourself. The house is well equipped but also well used and some things could be updated. Dining table view is awesome as the weather tends to be too windy to eat outside. People in the town are friendly and it's a nice place to relax and recharge.

Potter patter of little feet for a week
The location and view were outstanding but the footsteps, toilet flushing and whining toddlers for a week did not meet our relaxation expectations. Will never stay at this address again.
If you want a peaceful and easy feeling in a small but quant town with nothing but friendly folks, the sweet Cayucos home is the spot. Unreal view from the deck, living room and dining room. Beds were average but cozy and amenities were older but clean and comfortable. The fireplace was a great plus during cool weather. I highly recommend this great stay for relaxation and views, quiet, private and peaceful.
This is a lovely, well appointed home. The rooms are small and cute and the living area is a bit tight, but also very well arranged. We have a child with Cerebral Palsy, so the narrow space between furniture was cumbersome at first. We moved some things around to make it work for us. One of the twin mattresses in the back room was wildly uncomfortable. Not sure what was up with it. It felt like a blow up mattress. But otherwise the beds were quite comfy. Ample pillows and blankets. The view is gorgeous and proximity to main street was perfect. We walked everywhere we went. The kitchen is large and he dining table accommodated our family and wheelchair! Thank you for a wonderful stay. We loved our time here and would recommend to a friend.
