Take the steps at the side of the building, down to the beach, launch your paddleboard or start your day with a refreshing sea swim.

Whilst on the island, why not hike to the top and take in those breath-taking 360-degree views out to Bantham and across to Hope Cove. Set above the beach is a wonderful beach shop, Venus Takeaway where you can buy pasties and ice-creams and during the summer months you’ll find Beach Barista serving great coffee. If the constant outlook on surfers and paddleboarders has inspired you, award-winning Discovery Surf School offers surf and paddleboard lessons, as well as being able to hire boards and kayaks – an excellent way of exploring the surrounding coastline and island.
