The Space:

The open plan living area is the perfect place to relax after a day exploring London. Settle into the cosy sofa, enjoy high speed wifi, and make use of the smart TV with popular streaming apps ready to go.

The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for home cooking, including a filtered water dispenser. If you prefer to explore the citys incredible bars and restaurants, you will find some of my personal recommendations in the guidebook.

The bedroom features a comfortable double bed dressed with fresh hotel quality linen and towels, all prepared before your arrival.

The bathroom includes a stylish marble shower, along with complimentary toiletries such as shower gel and shampoo for your convenience.

Please note that there is scaffolding and building maintenance outside the property for the next three months, which may cause some light noise during the day.

Gross!

At first I wanted to run to a hotel, getting the key was inconvenient, & we arrived late. I had to clean the shower because of mold (that was easy to clean, I have pics). The sheets appeared clean, but I washed the sheets and the last day I also washed the mattress pad. The mattress had unsightly stains I felt like vomiting, knowing we slept on it our whole visit. The tv in bedroom didn’t work. The tv in living room had terrible reception. The water purifier didn’t work. I’ve never left a review on anywhere I’ve stayed, but this is so unacceptable, I feel that I had to. (So they will improve for the next person). I truly think I should get a refund. We were cheated imo.

London Getaway based in Kensington

Great location of a nice apartment in Kensington. We based from this apartment for a 4-day getaway to London and found the property clean and comfortable. The property management company was very easy to communicate with and we were quite happy with our stay - to the point that we would return when we visit London again. The apartment was adequately appointed: each room had basic supplies for a short stay, was simple but adequate, and comfortable enough. The street location and building were quiet - a bonus for sleeping in the city! And the neighborhood was very safe. We found it easy to travel throughout the city by bus and by underground; bus stops were within a 5 minute walk, and there are many underground stations nearby. The nearest station is Kensington-Olympia, however, this station only operates on weekends and holidays (something we didn't understand before traveling, but easily worked around once we grasped the situation.) Check-in was a little tricky because although we had the address of the 'key nest' (a small convenience store), we had some difficulty finding it on our first evening in the rain. Once located, we were fine. As stated earlier, we would return to this apartment on a future visit.
