Immaculate 3bed Apartment at Luxury Baia da Luz Resort, near Beach & Town Centre
Beautiful top floor 3-bed, 3-bath apartment at the award-winning Baia da Luz luxury resort. With lift, air conditioning, wireless internet, smart TV (with access to Netflix, Prime, YouTube etc), 2 balconies. Complex includes 2 pools, restaurant, bar, tennis courts, playground. A few minutes walk from lovely Praia da Luz beach and town centre with many bars, restaurants and 2 supermarkets.
Our apartment is on the 2nd (top) floor, at the edge of Luz town centre. Situated just outside the complex and pool area, there is a dedicated underground parking space under the block which you are welcome to use and can get a key fob from reception on your arrival. Or if you prefer, you can park on the road outside the block where there is plenty of free parking all year round. The lift goes from the underground garage directly to the apartment.
On entering the apartment there is the second bedroom to your immediate right which has 2 single beds, dressing table, fitted wardrobes, air conditioning and under floor heating, should it be necessary. Next to that is the main bedroom with a double bed, with all the same features as the twin bedroom and a full en-suite bathroom (shower over bath), plus a small optional safe. All bathrooms have complimentary toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap etc) and hairdryer.
There is a main bathroom with a large shower.
The large fully fitted kitchen contains Siemens appliances: oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. There is a Nespresso coffee machine with some complimentary coffee capsules, plus a filter coffee maker. The cupboards are fully stocked with pots, pans, crockery and utensils, everything you should need including a teapot and cafetiĂšre. There is a large dining table and 6 chairs, plus a small desk for your laptop. There are a few complimentary dishwasher and washing tablets, bin liners, iron and ironing board, clothes airer/dryer and pegs.
In the spacious living room there is a smart TV with access to Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube and other providers (account required), along with some UK News and other European channels and a DVD player, WiFi throughout the apartment, a Bluetooth capable sound system, dining table with 6 chairs and an air conditioner. Outside, there is a good size balcony with a table with 6 chairs and 2 sun loungers for your use. The balcony faces west and the sun shines on it all day and into the evening.
Upstairs there is a mezzanine bedroom with 2 more single beds, side tables, dressing table and wardrobe, plus air conditioning. There is a very bright en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower and a delightful little balcony, with a sunbed, table & chairs. Totally private with a view over Luz.
All the downstairs windows have electric shutters. Recycling is very easy and all the different recycling bins, including general rubbish, are on the lower ground floor in the garage. The reception is on direct dial from the apartment and you can call them for any help or assistance you may need during your stay. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful.
The resort itself has 3 pools, an adult one that is heated all year round, a childrenâs pool and a paddling pool. There is a childrenâs playground and 2 tennis courts (rackets and balls available at reception). There is a lovely Italian restaurant on site, Alloro, which serves excellent food with a bar that will also serve you drinks to have around the pool. The pool area is about 100m from the apartment. We like this because our apartment is quiet and more secluded than those around the pool area, but you have all the facilities whenever you want them.
The apartment is about 7 minutes walk from the beach and the many excellent restaurants and bars Luz has to offer. (The closest restaurant, bar and coffee shop are about 3 /4 minutes walk away.) There are 2 supermarkets in Luz. You do not need a car once in Luz as everything is within easy walking distance.
Lagos is only 3 miles away by car or bike and has a beautiful marina, wonderful beaches, restaurants, bars, cafés and shops and large supermarkets. There are water sports and many activities available in Lagos.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?
We have spent the last ten years or so looking for a holiday home. We chose the Algarve because of the great weather, the lovely beaches, the friendly people and, yes, the local wines!
We have travelled quite extensively on the Algarve, from Sagres in the west to Tavira in the east, but Luz was an easy choice for a place to buy a property.
Small enough that you can walk everywhere, large enough that you have everything you could want - a lovely beach, restaurants, bars, supermarkets, dentists, medical facilities and a village atmosphere.
We would love you to come and stay at our apartment. If you have any queries, we will be happy to try and answer them for you.
