The room is the property is in historical part of London along Thames River and famous Narrow Street. Meeting different people. Walking distance to Canary Wharf and Tower of London, Tower Bridge along Thames River footpath
Good and convenient place to stay, not far from the city centre by tube, Limehouse station is nearby.
The experience was good.
Maybe a better communication about location and keys use communication would have been perfect though.
No real complaints about this room. It's in a shared apartment with a single man. It was a bargain room for a bargain price. Close to a grocery store and the Metro. Thank you so much Victor for providing a lower cost accommodation in London. This location is perfect for going to the ABBA theater, the Queen's house, the Naval museum, and the Observatory. Observatory. It's about 30 minutes in either direction to either all of the attractions or downtown London.
Stayed 3 Nights at Property whilst attending an Event at Excel which was a short ride from Limehouse on the DLR. Nearby were Restaurants and âThe Grapesâ a Pub in Continuous Operation since Elizabethan Times. A Communicative Host with Local Knowledge was âThe Cream in The Coffee.â

In the ghetto near a police station
The cover image implies a view of the Thames. That is not the case. It faces a major highway, adjacent to a police station. All evening and night long, you can hear the sirens passing by. The room is listed as a double room in a great location, and that there was a private kitchen. I falsely assumed that meant I was renting the entire flat. No, the owner stayed there the entire time. I didn't realize I would be sharing a bathroom with a man. I could / should have asked, which is my fault. I also have to give him credit because I didn't see him the entire time, however it was vaguely uncomfortable knowing he was in the other room. I wasn't sure if I needed to coordinate bathroom schedules, etc., which again was a communication gap I didn't address.
There was a lot of graffiti around this part of town. My view was across a major highway to a concrete silo. Walking to the tube felt a little dangerous / sketchy at night.
The room had a weird smell. I tried to use the dishwasher and the laundry, but neither seemed to work. These photos look 10 years old. The shower curtain wasn't weighted with magnets, so it attacks you.
All that said, it was incredibly affordable, and it was central to the Limehouse station (which isn't a very nice or big station), but it connects to basically everywhere else. I was able to walk to St. Kathrine's & Wapping in 30 minutes (along the highway, but on the sidewalk).
If I had to do it over, I'd think long and hard about it.
I would leave the building through the public street exterior entrance which always smelled like sewage. Not that much air conditioning. Besides that, the bed had that the right amount of pressure to my muscles and the regulation to the water temperature in the shower was well adaptable to my range of body heat.
