Located just off bustling Stonegate, this beautiful 2 bedroom apartment occupies an unrivalled position, with amazing views from its piazza across to York Minster.

Furnished & finished to the very highest standard 15 Stonegate Court has a fully fitted kitchen with everything required to make your stay easier. The Master Bedroom, has an ensuite shower room and a flat screen TV, the spacious second bedroom can be configured as a twin or super king. The fully tiled bathroom has a shower over the bath.

The light open plan living/ dining space has a flat screen TV, Blu Ray DVD player and high speed WiFi. There is also a delightful balcony area which is reached from double doors in the living room.

Absolutely Fabulous

Loved the apartment, clean, nicely decorated, very comfy and homely. Location couldn’t have been better, so perfectly placed for everything. Would highly recommend, and we’ll definitely be back next year.

Beautiful, comfortable, spacious

This was an amazing base for our stay in York. It is centrally located, but private, secluded and quiet. We had lots of space, and the house is very well furnished. Everything was easy and simple. Would love to stay here again.

Stay at Stonegate

We had a very happy stay in York. Sadly the WiFi didn’t work and we had no response from the number the owner had told us to contact her on any time. However when we contacted StaysYork they responded quickly with a solution The dishwasher wouldn’t open fully as the washing machine prevented it. That needs sorting. Really Helpful Owner

The apartment is well located , well maintained, and clean. The beds were very comfortable and the flat was well equipped. The view of the Minster was amazing. The lift made it easily accessible, which was appreciated after a day sightseeing. We had a few queries with regard to the parking but the owner responded very quickly and the issues were soon resolved. We will definitely return to the flat when we next visit York.

Lovely property in the heart of old York, but NO "on-site parking" as erroneously listed

This is a great property: roomy, nice amenities and decorations, right in the middle of old town York life. Major negative: the VRBO listing ways it has "on-site parking." That is a big reason we chose thie property, but that is totally false. You have to park in a car park some distance from the property. And there is not even a way to safely and conveniently unload your car. You have to unload around a corner at a place it is not even legal to park and get questioned by the authorities for why you are there. It worked out OK but was far from convenient. One other negative: there is a horrible sewer-like smell in the apartment that you notice as soon as you walk in the front door.

Perfect location from which to explore York

Great little apartment. We were a Grandmother, Mother, Daughter trio and the space was just what we needed. Having two bathrooms was excellent. Kitchen was well equipped. Nice to have laundry en suite, but we either used the unit wrong or the dryer didn’t really work very well (more likely the former). The only problem we had was that the check-in process was Very difficult. The directions to the apartment were nearly impossible to follow. An actual street address would have made the whole thing so much easier. Instead, we spent entirely too much time both driving around and then dragging bags through the crowded streets. Instructions on where to park were equally confusing. Altogether, highly recommend but suggest contacting the owner for better instructions on how to find the property. One last note, if you intend to sleep late on Sunday, the Minster bells will definitely not allow for that. We had a beautiful serenade for nearly 30 minutes starting at 9:00 :)

Visit to York

Great location once we found the entrance to the property. Stay York and Guest information provided contradictory which has been feedback to Stay York. When booking and paying, based on the information on your website, which said parking was provided, I had expected the parking to be on or near the property. Joining instructions made it clear that parking was paid for in a York City carpark, the nearest of which was a ten minute walk away. Greater clarity would have managed expectations. These minor irritations resulted in an overall score of 4 rather than 5
