Southernhay sits proudly at the entrance of a quiet private estate in West Wittering offering undisturbed views across fields to the sea.



Perfectly located to reach the beach, local shops, restaurants and pubs. The house has something for everyone whatever the weather, including a heated swimming pool, hot tub, gas BBQ, games rooms, gym equipment and even a Pelaton bike! All exclusive yours for the duration of your stay!

The Neighborhood:

West Wittering has one of the most popular sandy beaches on the UK's south coast. And this home puts you within easy walking distance of it. The property is situated on the corner of a quiet private estate.



Whether you’re staying to explore the surrounding area or relax, you’ll be pleased to know that the local shop is within easy walking distance, so you can stock up the fridge, freezer and cupboards in the house with your favourites. And there’s a pub close by too, great for soaking up the sun in the pub garden, or enjoying dinner out.



East Wittering village is a short drive away, which has plenty of shops, including fish mongers, butchers and green grocers. You'll also find cafes, pubs and restaurants and surf shops. You can walk to the village in 25 mins or drive in less than 5 minutes.

More beaches at East Wittering, Selsey and Bracklesham Bay.



The biggest local city—Chichester—with its many shops, stores, coffee shops, and entertainment venues including a cinema and theatre. The majestic cathedral is also well worth a visit.



Sporting events: There are two horse racing courses that can be easily reached from the house—Fontwell and Goodwood, with the latter also playing host to the annual Festival of Speed and Revival in September.



If you're into walking, beautiful countryside and coastal paths can be reached on foot from the house. Or a few miles to the north, you'll find The South Downs, great for picturesque walks, hikes and bike rides.



Getting Around:

With parking for up to four cars at the house, driving here is a good option. But once you’re here, unless you’re planning to venture far and wide, you might find you can leave the car parked up.



So much is within easy walking distance, including the beach, shops and pubs. There are local bus services that connect you regularly with East Wittering and Chichester.



Or you can always hire local cabs to get you where you need to go. And Chichester has a railway station that connects this part of the world with many other locations in southern England, including Bournemouth, Portsmouth and London.

This property is best suited to families. We do not accept all-adult group bookings, as the sleeping arrangements include a set of bunk beds and two small single beds, which may not be suitable for adult guests.
