Grace Cottage Ă  Porlock a Ă©tĂ© rĂ©amĂ©nagĂ©e il y a environ une dĂ©cennie pour ouvrir le salon en bas Ă  une piĂšce plus spacieuse et plus lumineuse dans laquelle il est possible de cuisiner, de manger et de se dĂ©tendre. En 2018, la propriĂ©tĂ© a Ă©tĂ© vendue Ă  de nouveaux propriĂ©taires qui ont consacrĂ© beaucoup de temps et d’attention Ă  la mise Ă  jour de ce charmant gĂźte, comprenant une nouvelle cuisine Ă©quipĂ©e d’installations modernes; un nouveau poĂȘle Ă  bois dans le salon pour des soirĂ©es agrĂ©ables, ainsi que de nouveaux lits et draps. Il y a un lit double et une chambre Ă  deux lits. La salle de bain a Ă©galement Ă©tĂ© rĂ©novĂ©e et comprend une puissante douche dans la baignoire et un grand porte-serviettes moderne.

Ein hĂŒbsches altes Haus mitten im Ort nahe der alten Kirche. Alle verfĂŒgbaren GeschĂ€fte und Restaurants in unmittelbarer NĂ€he, wie auch Möglichkeiten kleinerer Hundewalks und guter Ausgangspunkt fĂŒr große Touren z.B. ĂŒber den Bossington Hill oder nach Porlock Weir durch die Marsch. Leider keine gemĂŒtlichen SitzplĂ€tze z.B. zum Lesen außen, das wĂ€re schön und verbesserungswĂŒrdig. Es ist sehr schön ruhig dort und wir hatten zwei wunderbare Wochen!

Lovely quite little cottage with contemporary interior. Beds were super comfortable. Porlock is a small village with many amenities, 3 pubs, 2 mini supermarkets, a few galleries and tea rooms. As a family of 4 we stayed here for 10 days and had plenty to do in the surrounding area. We had some great walks, followed by cream teas, hired bikes, drove over to Woolacombe for a day body boarding and my favourite a super fast and fun RIB boat trip from Ilfracombe . Fab holiday. Thank you.

Porlock is the perfect place to stay to explore Exmoor, with many lovely walks starting from the village. The village itself has pubs, cafes, an excellent village store selling local produce. Grace Cottage could not be more conveniently situated, right in the heart of Porlock and minutes from all its facilities and is a cosy, comfortable home from home.

The location was excellent, Porlock has plenty of shops, cafes, takeaways and pubs, many dog friendly. It was very easy to visit Exmoor's many attractions from the Cottage. The cottage had everything we needed. It was warm and cosy with lovely comfortable beds. Great to have a parking space. Porlock is a very friendly village with lots of walks straight from the cottage and the owners have provided lots of maps and walks to help you on your way. The cottage was spotlessly clean so we had no worries regarding the pandemic. It is a very relaxed place to stay both for us and our dog.

Beautiful welcoming cottage, we stayed in December.. the radiators had been switched on ready for our arrival which I though was a nice touch.. Grace cottage is spotless, beautiful and quaint.. it has a lovely energy about it. We only stayed 3 nights, if I had have been staying a week I would of liked the cottage to have a washing machine, I can't really understand why is dosent have one, so thats my only negative. The log burner on a winter night is definately a positive.. beautiful !

This stay has been an extension as we were between moving homes and the completion day has been postponed. This gave us some more time to to stay in this wonderful cottage with its wonderful surronding areas. We have enjoyed our stay there very much! ItÂŽs a nice, cosy cottage which has been tastefully refurbished and decorated. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfortable. There is also a nice fireplace, very fast internet and a smart TV. So this is clearly a thumbs up!

Grace Cottage is a lovely cottage at the heart of a lovely village in Porlock. Stylishly furnished and a real gem, it was cosy and nice relaxing stay for our family. The local pub the Ship had just reopened both the food and staff were first class. Porlock Weir is beautiful place with outstanding views and is just on your doorstep. The area is ideal for exploring Lynton, Lynmouth, Dunster and the rest of the area. I'd definitely return.

Fabulous cottage in a central village location. Lovely and quiet with a sunny garden to sit out in. The cottage is really well equipped and the village has everything you need. Great pubs and restaurants in the village too. Lots of walks straight from the door and a bus stop yards away if you don't want to drive. Highly recommended.

The village of Porlock is a traditional working Exmoor village; it boasts three pubs, two grocery shops, Post Office, a traditional local butcher, chemist, cash machine, hardware shop, visitor centre and a range of independent restaurants, shops and tea rooms.

Minehead is the nearest town, approximately 7 miles away. Here you will find the larger supermarkets and petrol stations (Tesco and Morrison's are both situated on the outskirts of the town and have longer opening hours), most major high street banks with cash machines, plus a range of other shops throughout the town.
