The Coastal Voyager trips have been an adrenalin fuelled favourite and for little people, trips to the Camel Centre just up the road. Aldeburgh, Snape and Framlingham all within easy reach. Being on the Norfolk Broads, Beccles is a vibrant small town and boat hire is available there. The Suffolk Jungle Cafe at Metfield is a great spot for a nearby lunch and there are many traditional Suffolk pubs, most of which are dog friendly, a short car journey away, offering good food and hospitality. Ideal for a relaxed break, beach days at Walberswick where the swimming is perfect, visiting Minsmere Nature Reserve and Sutton Hoo. There are horses on the property, stabled nearby in winter, they sometimes like to say hello through the windows! To really unwind we can recommend a local spa with a fabulous garden if time allows. Local events include Latitude Festival, Heveningham Hall Country Fair and Heveningham Fireworks and the Steam Rally at Henham. A great base to do as little or as much as you want. We look forward to welcoming you.
