We had a great stay during Tulane graduation. We were just a short drive to campus and we were able to walk to Magazine Street. The Whole Foods is just around the corner. It was about a 15 minute drive to the Superdome. The place was clean and communication was great!
We just returned from New Orleans, Jazz festival, second weekend and we stayed at this terrific uptown VRBO. Itâs a great location and very nice for two couples.Check in and check out was no problem and while we did not rent a vehicle if you do, thereâs plenty of parking in front of the property. A lot of very nice restaurants in the area. We ate at Avo, Franky and Johnnyâs and Saba as well as the Dim Sum bakery. All very good! The cable TV could be improved and the remote control for the TV in the second bedroom, the volume button did not work. But all in all a great place we would stay again!
My dad, husband, and I flew in to visit family during FQF. We love being close to Audubon to walk and play tennis and golf. Itâs the perfect location - just off Magazine and its restaurants, a short walk to the streetcar, and close to the river. The house provided everything we needed, but most of all, and especially lovely front porch for the perfect weather we had. Both bedrooms and bathrooms were great for our size party. Highly recommend staying here!
We enjoyed the stay. The unit was nice and roomy and conveniently located. We seldom cook when we're in NOLA but the kitchen had plenty of necessities if you're so inclined. The Magazine street bus,#11 is 4 short blocks away ( use the LePass app for convenience) if you're heading toward the quarter, and Magazine street with all it's restaurants is only a 3-4 minute walk.
The apartment was very comfortable, but not ideal during cold, wet weather. However, we did have a pleasant stay. the neighborhood is perfect. We were able to walk most places we needed to go.
This house was in a great location with tons of options for meals, and nearby to Audubon. The beds were comfy, rooms were spacious. As music lovers, the wall art prompted many conversations. We really loved our time and will return!
Stayed here for a quick intro to NO for the kids. This place was clean and in a safe location. Pull out couch mattress is definitely for kids only. Very lumpy and loud. Overall, we had no issues. Truly enjoyed staying in this shotgun style home.
Quiet historical double 1 block off magazine st. the house is on a low traffic street. The only real noise is the kids playing at recess across the street at the school. the walk- through flat feels it's age but we liked that. Don't expect a 100 year old house to feel pristine. It was comfortable including the beds. Most of the windows are on the sides of the house and since it's so close to the neighbor, it doesn't get a lot of direct sun light fyi. It's a great neighborhood near Audobon park if you are looking for more of a low key stay out of the craziness of the Quarter. It's about a 18 min walk to the street car. Get the Le Pass app to use it. ubers were easy to get even when it rained.
TVs only have antenna tv. I tried to stream netflix in the back den but it kept buffering - i think because of the plaster walls. It would probably be fine in the front bedroom where the modem is.
This house was everything we were hoping for. It was very clean. The description was accurate and there were plenty of places for me and my 4 friends to sleep comfortably. There were lots of extra towels and blankets! We felt very safe and secure.
The location was excellent, however, I cannot give this property a high rating. It is dark and dingy. The TVs are baffling, and one of the bedrooms is immediately visible upon opening the front door, in what I assume was originally a dining room. The hot water in one of the showers is lukewarm, and the backyard, which is touted as one of the nicest features of this property, has obviously not been tended to for a very long time. Because of the location and a place to sleep, We enjoyed ourselves and nonetheless.
This home is in a great location by Magazine Street. We were able to walk to shops and restaurants nearby. Clay was very responsive to any questions we had and we would definitely return again in the future.
Great location to walk to Magazine St and catch parades and enjoy restaurants and local bars. Quiet, safe area and plenty of space inside and all we needed. Would definitely stay again!!
This was a perfect fit for our needs. The location is very convenient, the street is quiet, plenty of easy and safe parking, and the house has a lot of charm. Clay was a very thoughtful and very responsive host.
Everything was wonderful. Family of 4 stayed 4 nights. The location was superb, we had everything we needed. It was a very quiet and charming neighborhood! Beds were comfy. Plenty of blankets and towels.
Ideal location. Clean, comfortable property. And the best VRBO host weâve ever had: responsive, generous provision of soaps and supplies. Really great.
Great walking location to Tulane/Loyola Campus.
The property had all new amenities and there was no scrimping on the towels, etc.
Would rent again.....and tried but they were booked for our dates
