3 Bedroom Apartment Sleeps 6 in Large Country Manor House
The Apartment is located in the Grounds of a Large Country Manor House in the Heart of Warwickshire , recently fully refurbished with lashings of oak and original traditional fittings and of course accompanied by stunning open fireplaces which makes The Apartment the place to be.
Located 4 miles from Warwick 5 miles from Leamington Spa and 14 miles from Stratford upon Avon
Property was very nice and well situated for visiting national trust properties and local attractions. The kitchen is very limited in cooking options and need more typical utensils such as scissors, spatula, egg splicer etc. hard to cook meals.Bed mattress were soft and limited bedding.House could do with a good clean as cobwebs inside the house.
Beautiful property in beautiful grounds. Kitchen, bathroom and living room spacious. Bedrooms on the small side but functional. What I loved was hearing the outside clock chime the hours. Overall a lovely place to stay
Lovely apartment. Martin was on hand to meet and greet and a good job as itâs just hard to find the gateway in the dark on a fast road. Great meeting point for us coming from north and south. Thank you
Everything was superb. The apartment looked great online but was better in every regard. I never slept better. The owner and staff were just great and made us comfortable from the very beginning. If you want a taste of English Estate Living this is it.
I hope I can return again with my wife. I will recommend Greystoke Hall to all my friends and family for an extraordinary stay, if they travel to England.
My only comment is that it was underpriced.
The property is well situated and set within lovely grounds. It has been renovated to a good standard and the lounge and bathroom were particularly nice.
The kitchen wasnât as well equipped as it could have been and needed a proper kettle!
It was nice to meet the host as part of the check in process but we werenât given any instructions as to how to check out. A little more pre/post communication would have helped.
However, these are minor grumbles as we enjoyed our stay, we would return and recommend to others.
A beautiful location , just a little disappointed that some of the listed amenities were not available.
The washing machine which we needed to use to refresh our clothing options on a long break was not available . May be a bit more information on the workings of the property would be helpful as well .You need to run the hot bath tap to get enough water pressure for the kitchen. The flashing lights from the alarm system all night in all the rooms was a little confusing too.
We did have a lovely stay despite the frustration of the attention to detail .
Beautiful apartment adjacent to a country manor house
Entrance is via remotely controlled electric gates. Plenty of secure parking. The apartment is above what used to be the stables. The entrance door is reached after climbing a flight of outside metal stairs. Inside the impression is of beautiful glowing wood everywhere. Everything is top quality down to the carvings at the end of each piece of wooden trim. There are two good sized bedrooms and one slightly smaller one. Each bedroom has a wardrobe containing hangars, a dressing table and electrically operated blinds. The kitchen is large and well fitted. The lounge is very comfortable with two sofas and a television with Netflix, Amazon Prime etc. The bathroom is large and has a free standing bath and a large glass enclosed shower. The entrance door key has a fob that is used to open the electric gates from the outside. There is a pub nearby that serves good food. The grounds are extensive with a large enclosed lawn with a table and chairs for us to use. The host responds quickly to any enquires, we initially thought there was no hot water but there is plenty, it just takes a while to come through. Overall a very lovely and unusual place to stay in unique surroundings.
