"Adhurst" is a three bedroomed house with a private courtyard. It has a kingsized downstairs bedroom and bathroom and upstairs there is another kingsized bedroom, a small room with bunk beds (most suitable for children/teenagers) and another bathroom. Downstairs there is a fully equipped kitchen and a living area from which the courtyard can be accessed through patio doors.
The house was set just outside of york it took 20 minutes or so to walk into the centre, plenty of food place to eat. The house was brilliant for all the family, in a quiet area , parking was a bit of a pain as we had to park in a long stay car park , which again was a bit of a walk for the younger family members, itâs a pity a parking permit wasnât issued with the house would of made things so much easier.
We had a lovely stay and the house was clean and tidy.
We chose this property because it had 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and was within walking distance of the city centre. There was no parking permit ( car parking in York is very expensive and we had two cars with us) but we managed to get some on street parking a few minutes walk away.
The space was adequate for the five adults and baby in our family. The heating was not on but we managed to get it working, although the downstairs bedroom and the upstairs bathroom radiators did not seem to be working. These two rooms were cold.
Each glass we took out to use needed to be washed first and most of the rooms were very dusty.
The area is to be recommended especially â Bishy Roadâ with all its shops, bakeries and cafes.
